Suggestion for Somebody Help! threads... "Closed" symbol?

I like that idea! While Webberlily has a point, I think that if you were going to answer a thread, that you already knew about, then reading a closed thread waste time you could be using to respond to someone else

I think that this would be an awesome addition to WI!

This is what it looks like when it is closed, right next to the thread. You can see the other symbols when you scroll down to the bottom.

Oh I see. Thank you for posting an example because it wasn't clear to me what you were asking, but the picture really explained it. I see what you are saying now and yes I can see where that would be helpful for one thread in that section at the folder level...the threads can close quite quickly in spite of popularity which places them in the highlight in the folder section of the forum. I really like the suggestion of refreshing before you answer as I am not sure the site will ever show that a thread is closed at folder level. It would be nice if they did..just not sure they can do it.
