Suggestion regarding religious content

I have noticed a lot of people with religious or non-religious views expressing their opinions on WI. I realize that these are just individual personal beliefs, but I notice it seems to bring with it a lot of hard feelings and controversy. In many instances I've felt as if the conversation was an attempt to prosthelytize, and people have been belittled for their views. Opposite expressions of religious views cause hurt feelings and offense, and I don't think that's in the spirit of the WI community.

My suggestion would be to eliminate religion from this site altogether, at least limit or compartmentalize it so that only those that are interested in the particular point of view would have to see it.

My opinion is that eliminating this source of controversy would be helpful to the community here and help unite WI members rather than divide them. I know this may not be a popular idea, but sometimes you need to do something difficult to make it easier for everyone to get along.
