I do not think this is necessary. For one, as many people have pointed out, just because you have recess doesnt mean you are in E. School. Also, as other people have pointed out, many members claim that they are teens, etc, and it is never edited. Just saying "recess" does not give away enough personal information in order for someone to find you. For these reasons, I happen to disagree with this thread and think that people should be able to say what they did at school that day.

Yes, but in general, most kids probably have recess until middle school/junior high.

Correct, and in my mind, since people are allowed to say that they're teens, then saying what they did at recess that day is fine.

I agree with CanesFan. I know for a fact many high schools have reccess too, and there are just some ways where it's too obvious your age group, but does a grouping matter that much? I know it's personal info, but as said above just saying your a teen is personal too. It's a good point, but as long as we stay away from more important info, we'll be fine.

We have recess from grades K to 12 here, and that's for everyone.

In my school district, we only had recess up to sixth grade. In my opinion, all districts should have at least time when kids are allowed to go outside; fresh air always does people good. Keeping kids cooped up in a school all day just dampens their spirits.

Most grade levels differ on recess. We couldn't determine grade level just from recess, which means we couldn't detemine personal information from this.
A better example of showing personal information would be, "I'm going to prom!" Which we should refrain from saying.

everyone here has some good points, but as long as your not saying what grade your in or your age, then i think that saying that you did whatever at recess is fine.

i like being homeschooled!! (not really personal info because there is a homeschool club!) on the DCT you talk about anything, what is the difference about talking about what you did in recess? not trying to be "smart" is anyone thought i was!
