However, I don't find it entirely necessary, 'cause it's not like there has been a problem with hacking or WI-bucks stealing recently.
But good thinking, anyways | | | 11-01-2009, 04:41 PM | #14 | Im Done 'Wif Webkinz :) Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 2,118 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? I don't really think this feature would be necessary, maybe for changing your password, but not for WI bucks. | | | 11-01-2009, 04:55 PM | #15 | Banned Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 22,699 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? I agree with the others on what would happen if we forgot our passcode...
I just had an idea to a alternative- a security question like "What was your first pet's name?", "What's your mother's maiden name?", "What was the color of your first car?", "What was the first concert you went to?". I think questions like tjese would be better because things like these are a bit easier to remember.
I know that many people wouldn't try to hack your account just to get your WI bucks... but someday, more fun features will be added that we need to pay with WI Bucks, so then maybe there'll be some people after them...
Anyways, nice idea. | | | 11-01-2009, 05:02 PM | #16 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 35,140 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? Originally Posted by tarsky781 I have two questions.

I think this is a good idea! I really don't do anything with my WI bucks, I don't even know how the WI bucks bank thing xD. Actually, finding out your password isn't the only way someone could enter your account. Hackers have a lot of different ways; just like how WI was hacked not that long ago.
Actually, I think this is a great idea. Having the staff know all the Numbers would be a good idea in case one is accidently forgotten - great thinking!
Better to be safe than sorry, right? | | | 11-01-2009, 05:07 PM | #18 | Gift Guru Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 11,948 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? Originally Posted by soccerox7 I like the idea!

But good thinking, anyways But what if there was? Then we'd all be thinking we should've considered this.. | | | 11-01-2009, 05:25 PM | #19 | Call me Pat! And I haven't heard of many people who have had their WI Bucks moderated so basically it is only you who has control over them. Also if someone did hack your account just to steal WI Bucks, you could get them back easily. All transactions have records kept of them. An administrator could easily fix your amount and deal with the other member. Sorry but I just don't think this potion is very necessary. | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
