I'mma Guest Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 847 | A Pin Number on WI Bucks? Maybe a simple 4 digit number (like 4563) to protect your WI Bucks if someone gets on to your account. This would be an optional feature, because it might annoy some people. It would go on spending WI Bucks, depositing WI Bucks, and donating WI Bucks.
So what do you guys think?
Update: This could also be used on Changing your Email and Password. That is safe, like Neopets has pins. And maybe, stop scammers, and they won't use our WI bucks. | | | 10-31-2009, 10:09 AM | #3 | ohi doctor Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 25,987 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? I have two questions.
How would someone hack your account, and why would they do it just for WI Bucks? | | | 10-31-2009, 10:15 AM | #4 | oah! I'mma Guest Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 847 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? Quote: I have two questions.
How would someone hack your account, and why would they do it just for WI Bucks? It would be more of a safety thing, just in case. I mean, you never really know. | | | 10-31-2009, 10:21 AM | #5 | wish upon a Banned Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 6,225 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? This would be a good idea, but not really necessary. I like the thought, but why would people steal your WI bucks? lol. | | | 10-31-2009, 10:30 AM | #6 | oah! But it could be used on Changing your Password, too. | | | 10-31-2009, 10:32 AM | #7 | |_ () \/ 3 Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 20,171 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? hmm, I don't know.
I think that might slow WI down a little.
Thanks for thinking of it though! | | | 10-31-2009, 01:12 PM | #8 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 34,054 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? Your password that you log in with keeps your WI Bucks safe, and your whole account safe. If someone forgot their number combination, it could become a huge mess. | | | 10-31-2009, 01:18 PM | #9 | ohi doctor Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 25,987 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks? badena is right. If you're afraid of your account being hacked into, change your password to something hard enough so people won't guess it but not too hard so as you will forget it. | | | 11-01-2009, 03:37 PM | #10 | Leaving WW Gift Guru Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 10,150 | Re: A Pin Number on WI Bucks?
