Kinzville Park Status

It would be really helpful if you could add a spot on the WI page that would let us know when KV park was open and when it was closed - a new line under "Activities" perhaps. Like this:

Activities

12am KT
No hourlies at this time.

Kinzville is CLOSED

Yes, I have been frequently updating the WIki whenever I find it open/closed. It's a little annoying but, whatever... Great Idea!

Great idea! We could really use it for tracking, but it'd get super annoying for the staff after awhile.

The difference between the hourlies/rares and the Kinzville Park is this: Kinzville Park should be open all the time. The temporary closures are for repairs to the program. I keep on hoping that Ganz are done with these repairs any minute now!

And yes these items have to be entered by hand by the staff...

I found the Wiki thread is tracking opening and closing: Kinzville Park - Webkinz Insider Wiki

I am subbed onto the "Mr Moo" thread - but I just find constantly checking on the thread hard = and people are posting all the time so there is no way for me to know if a new post means "KP is open" or just someone posting "this is frustrating".

Another option would a spot where the latest "tweets" show up on the forum somewhere and info can be posted on a "latest news" feed. (I know I can get them from the front page but I only go there once a day).

This could be just a one liner - similar to the "Note" but it would change through the day to announce special events like KV opening or the Deluxe wheel or any time limited event that is not already part of the "Activities" posting.

I guess the biggest down side would be more work for the moderators.... but then they can't be that busy - they keep showing up on the "see how far we can count" thread

I know this is clearly done by staff, but a message could be added above the rares to say the KinzVille park is closed.

Thanks for checking in....

One of the great things about WI is how the info that I need the most is always there - I would miss so many Activities and Rares if you didn't have them posted for all to see.

I was hoping it would be easy to add KP open or closed to the list of reminders - but that was based on my assumption that Ganz would be opening and closing it fairly often.

Looks like that hasn't been happening.... Ah well - maybe Ganz will get it sorted out and get KP open sooner.
