Just Wondering... Screenshots....

I just wanted to put a notice out there...

What has happened to me is that I have taken a screenshot sometimes and sometimes I forget to cover up my email or personal things that are up. Like sometimes if you have a gmail it shows your email on the tab so if you take a screenshot meaning to take it of Webkinz it could take your email with it.

So to get back to my point I just wanted to say that we should put a notice out so people don't by accidentally give out their email on WI .. hackers could send you weird emails if they were guests on the forum.

Sorry if this is confusing.. I'm a little tired and I was just thinking about this when I took a screenshot today.. I find myself forgetting to cover it up, one time i had to do it last minute. So, I was just trying to help by posting this, and maybe we could spread it around so people know?? Just an idea.. I'm not trying to push anything... again sorry if this is confusing!!

Ive done this multiple times, though members pointed it out to me and I was able to fix it quickly

Not confusing to me! I usually crop in paint before I post any pictures, but I forgot once (luckily no personal info was displayed). This is a good reminder to always check first.

I understand what you are saying.....just like Jennilou said, you could crop your image using photo shop or some other program. Not only will it keep you safe, if you reduce the size of your image, it will look better too!
