[OFFICIAL] The altering of images and cut-and-paste needs to stop

Just to be clear on one thing. A common contest is the "create a new webkinz". We're still allowed to edit pictures for those as allowed by individual contest rules, yes?
Err- if the contest says it is allowed to edit, are we allowed to edit for said contests?

I have a question...

In two of my rooms, I have glitched-out items (in one room a trophy and lamp in mid-air, in the other a lamp and table)...

When I post my rooms for contests, I eo into paint and edit these items out by coloring over them...

I do not add anything or fix anything but these items, I just want to know if this is okay. I tried posting the rooms as they were, but it is a pain explaining about glitches, and since I didn't add items, I figured it would be alright.

Please let me know if I am mistaken, and thanks for bringing this to our attention!

I actually agree with this. Its counterfeiting and being untruthful, especially when claiming that the source was directly from webkinz.com. I know that users who does this, is doing it for the attention, self-satisfaction, and humor of it, which causes confusion, upsets and curiousities of thousands of other users. I am 100% for the ban of those who breaks that rule, because it lessens the credibility of the original site. Webkinz and WI are supposed to be clean, fun, age-friendly, and honest for everyone. I am a parent, and my 7 year old daughter plays on webkinz and sometimes views WI with me. I shouldnt have to explain to her that when someone posts something that is not truthful that gets her hopes up for nothing.

and as for the the one who posted right before me, I agree its sick, but still. stuff like that still shouldnt be brought to the attention here since there are kids who are viewing it as well. Some kids are much younger, and shouldnt be exposed to negativity of stuff even if we are agreeing that its negative.

Oh my. I know people do that for attention, and it is wrong, but copying the Admin, mod bars and putting them in avvies, is wrong-er!

It's a good thing you wrote this, most people are pretty rude about someone getting new webbies, just flag the post and let the mods decide. That's great.
