I was much happier not knowing tusslepuff was solved than I am knowing it but not knowing the ingredients
I would love it they continued the trophies but I very much believe that if they are going to post that it is solved then they should just go ahead and post the ingredients so it can truly be wrapped up from a WI recipe solving perspective. | | | 10-02-2009, 08:41 PM | #22 | I Rocks!! That is so bad. I really want the old way back! | | | 10-02-2009, 09:21 PM | #24 | Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 2,169 | Re: Turning Secret Recipes Back to the Way They Should Be Originally Posted by monkeecj I don't think that the size of the image should be affected by the removal of the swirl screen. The dock-sized picture rips away a large reason for doing many (most?) of the recipes, like the Halloween nog where you can only see the ghosts well in a LARGE pic. In fact, with the Halloween nog, one friend I sent to thanked me for the 'blue cups' -- you could hear the question in her voice, like 'why did you send me little blue cups'! LOL! But when I told her it was a halloween drink with cute little ghosts, and she made it on her own, she was thrilled with it and it has become one of her favorite recipes to whip up for her pets and friends.
Yeah, it's a stupid little thing I guess, but only insofar as playing WW at all is. Why bother making little blue cups? You bother making halloween nog so you can see the ghosts.
I don't get what they're doing with the food/recipes/etc. I half-suspect they are mad that someone solved YTT and this is punishment! "That'll show them pesky kids!"
(No offense ClaraZ/Pat! I'm still thrilled that we have the YTT recipe!!! I'm still growing cabbages through gritted teeth to make some YTTs, but I'm thrilled we've got the recipe!) | | | 10-02-2009, 09:31 PM | #25 | Call me Pat! In theory, that shouldn't have anything to do with the other changes. Why didn't they do that instead if they are so inclined? The size of the picture TRULY is very important to me; I am not just saying it to complain, I really mean it with all of my being. I went and did some photoshopping to show how easy it is to do this. Ganz could do it even easier. When Ganz programs in a recipe they add a Dock Image and a Congratulations image. In the old congrats screen they used the Congrats picture now they are just using the Dock Picture. Here is an example of how the larger image still works perfect fine on the new window:
So here is my beautiful Cloyin' Hoipolloi all messed up:
And here it is in all its glory:
As you can see the larger image fits just fine and I know that Ganz shouldn't have difficulty in making the image larger. They already have all the files saved, except Knotty NumNums, all they would have to do is change which image appears. | | | 10-02-2009, 09:33 PM | #26 | ipeout. <3 Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 14,688 | Re: Turning Secret Recipes Back to the Way They Should Be Originally Posted by ClaraZ25 I went and did some photoshopping to show how easy it is to do this. I literally gasped when I saw the large picture in there! They are so beautiful.... Thanks so much for the reference, Pat. I would've done that with Symphoscone too because I have a picture saved of the background erased, but it happens to be over blue and Paint would make me erase it again in order for it to work.
I don't know how anyone can deny this NEEDS to be changed after seeing your picture. | | | 10-02-2009, 09:55 PM | #28 | ipeout. <3 Webkinz :) Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 14,688 | Re: Turning Secret Recipes Back to the Way They Should Be I think we all need to enter the Ask the Creative Director Contest and ask him why he changed it. | | | 10-02-2009, 10:04 PM | #29 | Call me Pat!
