LOL I still actually have NOT found out when the gardens/seeds were first introduced BUT I did find a page {finally, just now} that mentioned the gardens way back when. It was posted on June 24th of 2007 so that would mean that the garden fresh produce that is available {assuming all of them came out at same time} were there BEFORE YTT was released. AT any rate at least some of them were available, not just the fake plants that look ready to harvest and all. Yes, I think that was a good question, or I wouldn't have kept looking until I found something! Is it written anywhere that these ingredients must be sold in the WShop? It it possible that there are ingredients that are received by "clicking" (i.e. chocolate ribbon) or in a holiday bag? If so, can those items be tried? Since it would be harder to have great numbers of these ingredients, it would be important to plan what combos to try. I would be shocked if this recipe had any green vegetables! It is more likely that there is chocolate (yummy!).
Would Ganz have used an ingredient that was not available in August 2007? An example is the Fairy Biscuits.
What assumptions have you been using?

It just says these foods won't go in the blender, so it makes it really easy to eliminate those foods Hi Dixiecup,
There was something about this that just made me want to try. I took foods that are not for sale in the WShop. I tested 25 different ingredients including holiday, fall fest, winter fest, 3 birthday cakes, fool's gold chocolate, fairy biscuits, goo-goo berries, chocolate ribbons and ossiliy bones.
Here are the SHOCKING RESULTS:
24 DID fit in the Icy Cool Blender
4 DID fit in the Chrome Blender
The Fool's Gold Chocolate did not fit in either one
I did call Ganz twice this afternoon. Neither person would verify that the foods must be from the WShop. They would not say what foods are eligible for the recipes. At the very least, there must be some programming bugs if the two blenders do not accept the same ingredients.
Plumpy's column on August 15, 2007 referenced this recipe. It is one of five released at that time. "Some of them use foods that haven't been used many times in other recipes."
Do you think we should broaden the search to ingredients that do fit into the blenders but are not for sale in the WShop? The four from my test that fit in both blenders are licorice bats, pumpkin pops, bowl of cranberries, and pumpkin pie.

There is already one exception. The Tooth Extractor recipe uses both the licorice bats and a pumpkin pop (holiday foods not currently for sale in the WShop).
Are you sure that Ganz would use only foods sold in the Wshop? It just seems that there must be some reason that all of these talented people have not found the recipe in the past 20 months.

AuntietoEW Yes, but that was an announced recipe, not a secret one.
There are actually only several ingredients eliminated for YTT. We are still a far way off. Our biggest mistake was excluding 11 ingredients from our elimination runs. | | | 04-15-2009, 11:12 PM | #4219 | AmericanBaronin Gifted Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 3,895 | Re: Yummytummy Tumbler (August 2007) Originally Posted by AuntietoEW

AuntietoEW __________________ The way all hints are worded the ingredients are from the wshop, and that has held true for each of the secret recipes {which doesn't include the tooth extractor because it wasn't a secret recipe ever}. As for 'other' items again the way the hints are worded it says multiple blenders or stoves or sandwich makers not just one or two that weren't programmed the same as the others. It would be almost impossible, also, to even do one full run with some of the ingredients as each account only got one of those items {gift bag for holiday etcetera}.
As for the green vegetables {or any vegetables} it is actually highly likely to have either/or {and possibly more than one} because of the HHH numbers gotten when feeding one to a pet. The numbers have not always been exact, equalling out to each ingredient plus the others in happiness, health and hunger but they have always been decently close at the very least. Therefore, at this point, with so many eliminations {in full} left to go it wouldn't be wise to not try the standard items first for full eliminations in whatever way until everything there was tried. As for the using ingredient{s} not available in 07, that would be impossible -- if something is programmed it is available, if it isn't available it isn't programmed in and therefore would not be there for them to use it in programming the recipe{s} at all -- such as A {appliance, particular one} coded with ingredient B, ingredient C, ingredient D, when used all at same time in that particular type of appliance makes E {actual recipe food}. Since the food was given on wheel and/or as present of whatever sort at the time it was introduced it had to have been programmed in already, in full, unlike the sneak peak at the last batch of recipes where even if you knew which appliance and which foods the final result {congratulations you made, with picture} did not complete {and in other places showed name of recipe food but not picture}.
The only assumption, based on all the previous runs/eliminations/recipes {secret ones} was that no one ingredient repeated itself in that SET of recipes {secret ones}, yet the last batch did have repeatS, so now we have gone back and are working on making sure those 12 ingredients are being eliminated with actual testing {actually 11 becase 1 of them was already eliminated in full by testing already}. There has also been wording in hints about things like blenderS and such that again indicates that any fluke/problem in programming in a single or single type of blender is not considered. We might, I'm sure, if we had already eliminated everything else normal otherwise but we haven't.
As to the reps, they always seem to know way much less than we do. Oh, also, front page a while back {not that long ago} Justin {main dude here} talked himself to creative director at Ganz who did confirm it could be made and that it was blender recipe. Also, from the conversation that I read it would be wshop foods and in any blender not particularly a 'special' one. The wording is always talking about going and buying the items to make up whatever it is, so again if it's seasonal or click or whatever it's not possible to go and buy them. | | | 04-16-2009, 02:10 AM | #4220 | Gifted Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 3,024 | Re: Yummytummy Tumbler (August 2007) Hi Keylargo,
Thank you for your lengthly response. I'm sorry that I do not understand parts of it.
Here is the link to Justin's story. It did not mention anything about the ingredients or what type they are. Maybe it was in another post? http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...umbler-481119/
