TECHNICALLY, THE GOAL OF THIS THREAD HAS NOT BEEN REACHED EVEN THOUGH ALL THE YTT SET INGREDIENTS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED FOR YTT: THEY WERE NEVER DONE TO 2/5/09. THE INFORMATION ON THIS THREAD WILL BE KEPT INTACT IN CASE WE EVER DO WANT TO REOPEN IT AND FINISH WHAT WE BEGAN.

If you have received a PM from me about eliminating the YTT set, this is the place where we can post who is going to try which combos - it would become too much of a hassle to keep PMing which combos we are going to eliminate.
Everyone - Remember that we are eliminating for all recipes! I think it will be good to get all 3 out of the way for Demitasse Lassi and Abracaldo Dabra too - we may solve one of them in the process!
These are the combinations that are currently eliminated with the YTT set. I can update as we eliminate.
Bananas, blueberry cheesecake, candy apple, iced tea, orange, pickles, root beer, and sushi are the first ingredients to be eliminated! Only 3 more!

Yes you may! I think an easy way to do it is reserve an ingredient (if you think you will be able to handle all of those combos) and then eliminate it with the YTT set.

Here is what I plan on doing, taking all of the granola combos that have a date that states that the 11 ingredients have not been tried with that combo yet and doing those with the 11:
my first combo would be: granola + bagel + the 11 ingredients.
Just wondering if this is the way everyone else is going about it or is there a different approach.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!

Originally Posted by ClaraZ25 I was thinking this elimination may get a little confusing right? Well what if each one of us takes on an ingredient to be in charge of. When I am saying in charge of I don't mean that you have to single handedly eliminate it, I am saying that you are kind of the go to person to check with before setting out on doing a combos with that ingredient. So for instance lets say I am in charge of Orange if monkeecj would like to do orange + pineapple he would just ask me to reserve that combo and then if some one else asks to do it I would just say it is already being done. Now the question is do you think this is a good idea? Should each of us be in charge of an ingredient or would this just make it more complicated than it already is. I would love some feedback on whether you think it will work. I think eliminating with a certain ingredient is a good idea. I will keep in the first post what ingredient everyone is doing. As for the rest, this thread should take care of going to a specific person and asking permission to start a combo.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! Actually, I am hoping that we can eliminate all of the YTT set to the current date (for all recipes) - that means that you would have to do the full combo with all of the ingredients not yet eliminated after 2/4/09. I think it will be good to get all 11 out of the way for Demitasse Lassi and Abracaldo Dabra too - we may solve one of them in the process! __________________ By far the most beautiful Webkinz World item ever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | | | 03-21-2009, 10:14 PM | #6 | I ♥ Wicked Gift Guru Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 9,848 | re: For Recipe-Solvers Eliminating the 8/5/07 Set... YESH!!!!
I reserve Root Beer + Chocolate Bar...nowhere near my thoughts of "yummytummy" but hey, who really knows what Ganz is thinking? __________________ "Something has changed within me, something is not the same...I'm through with playing by the rules of someone else's game." | | | 03-21-2009, 10:15 PM | #7 | ants the Trophy! ↓ Webkinz :) Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 4,039 | re: For Recipe-Solvers Eliminating the 8/5/07 Set... NO, because we are eliminating for the other recipes too, as stated above. Those ingredients are only eliminated completely before 11/12/08. __________________ By far the most beautiful Webkinz World item ever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Last edited by monkeecj; 08-17-2009 at 06:52 PM.. | | | 03-21-2009, 10:17 PM | #8 | On Vacation! Are we eliminating all 11 ingredients completely from the blender or are we just eliminating the 11 ingredients from the recipes that were marked -8/5/07. Also I am still a little confused as to why the 8 ingredients that are completely eliminated from the blender are only listed as completed under some of the 11 ingredients in the YTT set.NM I we were typing at the same time. CJ this is a wonderful idea to put this in the open forum. Having it in PMs is getting me confused __________________ Way to Go Canada!
