Gypsy, I posted a thread earlier today that might be helpful when trying to figure out reciepe combinations, I listed the ingredent and then all the reciepes that they are in. They are also listed by the number of times the ingredent appears in all the reciepes.

IE:
7 RECIEPZ

WHITE RICE-Chuda Bugs, Crispy Chocolate Squares, Rice Pudding, Stuffed Leafy Melon, Sundae Driver, Vegtable Stir Fry, Webkinz, Jambalaya

WATERMELON-Astormishing Sandwich, Fire & Water Sandwich, Health Juice, Icy Frosty, Picapakora, Stuffed Leafy Melon, Werrigetti

Unfortunately, the way my lists are set up right now, I can't really use that. Maybe I will be able to in the future with this project, but not right now. It was a nice thought, though.

I also realized that not all the solved recipes are in the cookbooks. Some of the solved secret recipes are listed in the WI news page but not in the cookbook yet, so I'm going through the news and writing down the solved secret recipes. It will give me something to do while I wait for everyone to sign up .

The handfull of recipez that haven't been added to the cookbook yet are in the sticky threads at the top of this section with "Solved/Verified" in the title.

I wrote a computer program. It looped through all the combinations, eliminating the combinations of three that had duplicates (for example, two apples and a watermelon, which wouldn't have been allowed). Then I realized that I also realized that there would be recipes that were essentially the same but the ingredients were in a different order so the computer printed them more than once. Since I was going in alphabetical order, I realized that after I got through all the combinations with a certain ingredient as the first ingredient, I didn't need to have it appear as a second or third ingredient. This also applied to having the ingredients in the second and third columns.

It was quite the complex little program to write, so it's okay if you're confused by that explination . Truth be told, it took me a while to get the program so it worked. I tried many different things and scrapped the project any number of times, but I always came back to it. Then, finally, I had a program that printed out a list of combinations with no duplicates.

Oh ok i just did some simple math 99x98x97x3 but now i see that there are many repeats. thanks for the explanation
