Quest to find ALL secret recepies...Need Helpers!

I have always wanted to find all the secret recepies that are out there. I have even gone so far as to make up lists of all the possible combinations of foods there could be. I started recently to go through the lists, but soon realized just how much time and kinzcash it would take. There are exactly 470,547 different combinations by my counting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So that is why I am posting on here. I need volunteers to help me with this. My plan is that with more people working on this, the less time and kc each person will need to individually spend on this.

I will be collecting names of people who want to participate until Saturday, June 14th. The only requirement for this is that you are able to PM, because on Sunday June 15th, I will PM each person who signed up with an assigned list of combinations of foods to cook, blend, or use the sandwich maker on (I will specify which appliance to use). Each person will try the combinations they have been given and then wjhen they're done PM me back with their results.

So...Is anybody interested in joining me in this project? I need all the help I can get.

I'll do it! In the list you give us with the combinations to try will you have taken out the combos already been tried?

I haven't been looking around the board for combinations that have been tried already, but if you or anybody else who becomes part of the group has combinations that they remember trying, you can it to tell me (make sure to also tell me the appliance you used, please) and I will remove them from the list of combinations to try. I will also go through the WI cookbook and mark the recipes that have been discovered already.

Also, and this is for everyone, one minor rule about telling me combinations that you've tried: please report the combinations that you've tried only since the new recipes have been announced. This is because what made gunk, gak, or blech before might make a secret recipe food now.

So are we the only three members so far?

I would like to help....my biggest hope to eliminate is pineapple and oatmeal.

I think they are a likely ingredients(not necessarily together) .

When i found all the possible combinations i found that there was 2,823,282 possible combinations. What do you do to arrive at your number?

Thanks. Some of those will still have to be retried because they were tried before this new batch of recipes came out and I certainly don't want to miss one.

I wrote a computer program. It looped through all the combinations, eliminating the combinations of three that had duplicates (for example, two apples and a watermelon, which wouldn't have been allowed). Then I realized that I also realized that there would be recipes that were essentially the same but the ingredients were in a different order so the computer printed them more than once. Since I was going in alphabetical order, I realized that after I got through all the combinations with a certain ingredient as the first ingredient, I didn't need to have it appear as a second or third ingredient. This also applied to having the ingredients in the second and third columns.

It was quite the complex little program to write, so it's okay if you're confused by that explination . Truth be told, it took me a while to get the program so it worked. I tried many different things and scrapped the project any number of times, but I always came back to it. Then, finally, I had a program that printed out a list of combinations with no duplicates.
