I go away on vacation for a week and I come back to THIS!!!
I'm a little disheartened but at least I'm working with fellow chefs and don't feel quite so alone.
Do I take it then - that all combos are up for trying again, with the suggestion of trying the oldest dated ones? Gotta go think about a strategy...
I've sometimes wondered if the w shop food descriptions would ever give us a clue. The only one I came across that was similar was the description for honey "Yummy, sticky golden honey will delight your sweet pet!"
Thought because it has the word "yummy" in it that i might try it... but I get tired of working on one ingredient for too long, so I'm bound to switch it up.
I'd also like to try crossing off the ingredients that have straws in them too. Oatmeal + Baked Potato + EE (including cabbage)
Root Beer + Cherries + EE (except ice cream cone) ALL = GAK in the blender 9/13/09
I am including PICKLES in my EE even though I am the one who eliminated them because I might have made a mistake. In other words, as we do a combo an ingredient drops off, so one by one the "EE" decreases by one. I don't know how you want this dated because I wasn't on here when you all decided that. And are you going to post in your first post that we are doing these full eliminations so noone wastes their money? If you notice my posts above it gives an explanation of this... your date will be the date or your EARLIEST completion date... so if you started the root beer and oatmeal combos on Sept 9 for example and on subsequent days are not using say apple and others because you already did those then your date will be Sept 9 for all of these! Hope that makes sense! | | | 09-13-2009, 10:02 AM | #2605 | Gift Guru Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 18,001 | Re: List of Eliminated Recipe Combinations, Volume 2: Updated 9/12/09 10:56 p.m. KT Originally Posted by peggios Amneris, should I be putting the date Imaclown and I started our Root Beer and Oatmeal eliminations since we are doing FULL eliminations of both those ingredients? My understanding i sthat this scenario wuld use the first day you did the first combo for all of them. I am also doing this for almonds and useing the first date for all of them. | | | 09-13-2009, 10:54 AM | #2606 | Kinzie2008 Gifted Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 837 | Re: List of Eliminated Recipe Combinations, Volume 2: Updated 9/12/09 10:56 p.m. KT Originally Posted by jazzinmarch um, wow... I'd also like to try crossing off the ingredients that have straws in them too. Yummy also appears in the description for strawberry yogurt. "Culture your pet's tastes with this healthy yet yummy yogurt"
Another possible clue is that in Plumpy's article she called YTT a 'tasty treat'. The description in the w-shop for Tomato is: "This ripe, ruby red tomato is a healthy, tasty treat for your pet"
Intersting to me also is the fact that YTT has a high health boost and in the description for both of those ingredients it also says they are healthy.

Interesting - it might come to nothing, but I thought it was worth a try - thanks for pointing out the other 'yummy' and 'tasty'! | | | 09-13-2009, 03:52 PM | #2608 | I'm a Lazy Zum Gift Guru Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 8,071 | Re: List of Eliminated Recipe Combinations, Volume 2: Updated 9/12/09 10:56 p.m. KT Originally Posted by peggios Amneris, should I be putting the date Imaclown and I started our Root Beer and Oatmeal eliminations since we are doing FULL eliminations of both those ingredients?
