Default Just a few simple tips

I need to take a short break from Webkinz Insider, and I am so disappointed that Yummytummy Tumbler is not solved yet! I thought I'd share my own personal plan of attack that unfortunately I need to put on hold. Good luck with this recipe! Please PM me when it's solved (if that is the case while I am on my break).

Please do NOT post any tries you attempted on this thread. It is not the thread's purpose. Please post your full elimination tries on Amneris's thread so she can see them. I just wanted a place easy to find where I could post my final thoughts on this recipe while I'm on break.

FIRST, I'd like to share some advice with those who are completely new to the Recipez Forum:

1. Please take the time to read through some of the stickied threads at the top of the forum. There is no need to read through all the pages; just thoroughly read the first post on the first page, then skim through a few of the comments.

2. Please, feel free to ask any questions from any members you see here. I will not list any names in particular, but there are several "recipe regulars" who post in this section. Many of us have also solved secret recipes in the past, so you can consider them "experts" in the field.

3. We appreciate your thoughts on recipes and recipe-solving, but please do not get offended when we politely explain why something does or does not work when you make a suggestion. We are all new members in the Recipez forum at some point, so there is no reason to feel "stupid" if you suggest something that was already considered a long time ago. You just never know if one of your ideas will turn into something useful!

4. If you'd like to work on eliminations, please refer to Amneris's thread. It is most helpful to try one ingredient plus a second ingredient with all the other 95 ingredients from the Wshop (this excludes vitamins and super mega toothbusters). You should not skip any ingredients whatsoever unless you have been working on solving recipes consistently for a long time (it took me a couple months to fully understand Amneris's thread!)

Default Re: Just a few simple tips

Some quick facts about Yummytummy Tumbler compiled in one quick blurb:
--It is made in the blender, confirmed by the Creative Director at Ganz.
--Watermelon is not in YTT, confirmed by the Creative Director (it was also tried with every other possibility before he told us this, so we already knew it could not be in there).
--In case there are any glitches with any of the blenders (you just never know!), use a chrome blender because that is the one the Creative Director used to make a Yummytummy Tumbler on August 4th.
--It is the healthiest recipe so far; when you feed it to your pet it boosts your pet's health meters a full 12 points! Of course, in the end, the three ingredients used in YTT may not be as healthy. Sometimes knowing the boost is helpful but sometimes it is not.
--Vitamins and super mega toothbusters do not work in the blender, with the exception of the icy blender which is a glitch.
--Holiday food, PSFs, and recipes also do not work in the blender, except in the icy blender which again is a glitch.
--As of today August 7th, more than one-third of the Wshop ingredients have been tried with every other possibility in the blender. There are also many other ingredients that have been tried with many other possibilities. Before you waste your Kinz Cash please check Amneris's thread to see what has been done already.
--Speaking of Kinz Cash, literally millions of KC have been spent trying to solve this recipe, so don't feel bad if you don't solve it after making a few gaks.

Default Re: Just a few simple tips

And FINALLY, this is my recommendation for what to do with Yummytummy Tumbler:

Step 1: Finish carrot cake with the remaining YTT set ingredients.

Step 2: Finish salad with the remaining YTT set ingredients. (AChip is working on this)

Step 3: Finish grapefruit with the remaining YTT set ingredients.

Step 4: Finish tomato with the remaining YTT set ingredients.

Step 5: Finish fish sticks and shrimp (there are 20-something ingredients left to eliminate with each, so that should be easy and quick)

Once this is done, it should be easier to eliminate the YTT set ingredients with a date of 2/5/09.

Thus....

Step 6: Finish sushi (peggios has this one!), candy apple, corn flake cereal, honey, and jelly completely with a date of 2/5/09 (this refers to monkeecj's thread, "For Recipe-Solvers Eliminating the YTT set).

Step 7: Eliminate the remaining Wshop ingredients that boost your pet's health by two when you feed it to your pet. As of today these include: green grapes, kiwi fruit, mushroom, nacho chips, pancakes, peas, pineapple, pizza, pumpkin, ramen noodles, raspberries, and tomato soup.

Once this is done, then every single healthy and partially healthy ingredient will be eliminated with all possibilities in the blender for Yummytummy Tumbler. At this point I am not sure what I would do if it did not make the recipe. These ingredients would still be left:

burger
cake
cheeses
cherries
chocolate bar
french fries
fruit punch
fudge
hot dog
ice cream cone
ice pops
lemon meringue pie
licorice
lollipop
macaroni and cheese
marshmallow
peanuts
pear
peppermint
pink lemonade
popcorn
potato chips
pretzel
sunflower seeds
tacos
toffee
waffles
webkinz crackers
white rice

Default Re: Just a few simple tips

In the end, I am especially rooting for the following ingredients:

cherries
fruit punch
green grapes
ice cream cone
ice pops
kiwi fruit
licorice
macaroni and cheese
mushroom
nacho chips
pancake
peanuts
pear
peas
pineapple
pink lemonade
popcorn
pretzel
pumpkin
ramen noodle
raspberries
shrimp
tomato soup
webkinz crackers

And one last word...to the person who solves it: please recognize that this recipe will be solved by team effort, not by just one person alone.

Spoiler: show

Even if my break becomes permanent (I really do have a lot of real-life stuff to catch up on!), please don't give up on this recipe!

I hope when you return we will have some good news for you. I especially like your point about the fact that no one person should take the credit. I know their are many members out there who are approaching the 1 million KC mark and still haven't solved YTT. I am sure if I am lucky enough to solve it I will not take single credit for the solve.
