I was thinking of that the other day when looking at the Epochiquox Glimmer thread... I thought it was interesting that Epochiquox Glimmer went longer before being solved than any other current solved recipe. That infamous Gladdugrumble actually places 2nd even though it sure felt like it was unsolved for longer than that! And then the horrible YTT totally blows them out of the water if you include unsolved recipes too.

Wow 8. I can believe that. I joined WI in May of 2008 right after that recipe solving spree in part to fact of it. I discovered WI while searching for how to make recipes. Also I don't think I will add DL just yet. There are a few recipes that passed the 6 month mark so I think I will only mention the recipe if it lasts a year. Lets hope that list only ever has 3 recipes on it.

Also on a scary note with DL when i found its picture I noticed that it was listed next to Abra and not the other recipes that it was released with. It seems to me that might have re-programmed it into the system but you never know. I ntoiced it and it has been bugging me ever since. I really hope ganz was just updating the picture or something.

Pat, the Fixichini solve date should be 2/9/09, a day earlier.

I am wondering what time to call the Mount Snococo solve... I think I will say it is 6 hours because the we got to work before the threads were up.

Also, I think that Slippamarink Sandwich USED to have the record for fastest solve before Trickle Treacle (although it doesn't really matter now with Grapplesnap) - by looking at the thread, the second poster was the one who solved it and it was 3 hours after FIA posted the thread... I have always wondered why it was solved a day before it was released I always thought it was the 10/31/07 set until someone told me otherwise. I am not sure of the exact date. I'll fix the fixichini (that sounds funny LOL)

Do you think you could add that list of how long they took to solve onto the first post? Maybe in a Spoiler or something after the chronological list, if you want? I ask because I will definitely be referencing it as time goes on and don't want it to be buried in here.

It's kind of fun to see where the current recipes would fall on that list. All of the newest recipes will be past 22nd place already no matter when they are solved!! It is amazing to see some of these recipes that seemed like they took forever but actually were solved fairly quickly... like Bluchetta Grillon, for instance.

I wish I had been a part of the Recipez section back then... I think my first post in here was the beginning of May 2008, but I didn't really get interested until the end of May/early June and it took me until about July before I was completely hooked.

About the above, I didn't mean you should add DL to the facts, just that the fact above my statement should be added and that DL fits interestingly into it.

If Trickle Treacle was solved on 10/31, then it HAS to be the 10/31 set.
