Monkeecj - any benefit to also adding for the unsolved ones an appliance possibility for each based on whatever was posted in the newspaper articles announcing the recipes? For example bewteinkled strumble and careening rojodillos may both be sandwich maker recipes and striped mellowmallow maybe blender, etc..
That would be realy helpful for the earliers ones too - tusslepuff (should be stove?), and then what spiny sporcues and shelbellow may be. | | | 04-02-2010, 01:19 PM | #355 | Chortle All the Way Wiki SysOp Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 5,546 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! I think that's a great idea with all of the confusion there has been. I added a new section with appliance possibilities at the top of the "All About Unsolved" section on the first post. Now we won't have to be confused again. | | | 04-25-2010, 11:00 AM | #356 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2010 Posts: 107 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! can you help me with betwinkledstruple | | | 04-26-2010, 07:04 AM | #357 | Chortle All the Way Wiki SysOp Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 5,546 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! On the first post of this thread you can see comparisons of Betwinkled Strumble to all of the foods in the W Shop, as well as the foods in the W Shop themselves for a quick reference, and you can find the possible appliances in which the recipe can be made. Plus, there's a list of not-often-used ingredients found on the third post, and countless other recipes and their ingredients for reference. | | | 05-05-2010, 11:59 AM | #358 | Gift Guru Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 18,001 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! Hi Monkee - looks like there have been additional eliminations since thsi was last updated.
Is this thread still intended to be a live thread? | | | 05-05-2010, 08:52 PM | #359 | Chortle All the Way Wiki SysOp Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 5,546 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! Is this thread still intended to be a live thread? Of course this is still an open and available-for-use thread. What is it that you want to have updated?
Traditionally, because of a lack of time, I don't put comparisons up for new recipes for quite a while after they are introduced to "weed out" those that will be solved quickly. If the need for comparisons is there, I will put them up.
And I simply don't have enough room to list eliminated ingredients for all of the recipes - there are too many unsolved right now. The most up-to-date list on eliminations is always on Amneris' thread. Plus, I think I'm only missing one from Tusslepuff.
Otherwise, Follow-Ups are almost completely up-to-date and comparisons for the oldest recipes are complete. That new section you requested for appliances was added at the beginning of last month as well.
If you see anything you want added, let me know. Otherwise, this is definitely meant to stay useful and active. | | | 05-05-2010, 09:05 PM | #360 | Gift Guru Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 18,001 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! I guess since I started I always looked at the three main threads: this one, amneris' eliminations and Pat's History as the recipe solving trinity. They just haev always been the first place I have gone to for info so still tend to look to these (even with the WIKI) as the main repository of info!
