Plus... the whole beaker thing and the bubbling makes me think of cooking on a bunson burner... Since from the Feb 09 set we know that recipe sets CAN repeat ingredients I personally feel that this "theory" should go the way of the dodo and never be mentioned again!!! Perhaps we can appeal to monkeecj to remove these pics from the DL "does not contain" picture... Those pictures are staying where they are. No recipe ever repeated an ingredient until the Abra set, and once we found that set repeating I made sure I would never make that exclusion in any future sets. But up until that point the sets followed the pattern and Demitasse Lassi was created at a time when this theory was still true. Until proven otherwise, I must assume that the theory was correct UNTIL the Abra set.
I also don't think the picture is at all confusing. All that it includes are the pictures of the ingredients that for sure have been eliminated and the ones that more than likely are. But if anyone doesn't want to pay attention to the exceptions, I have made it VERY clear with those 72-size asterisks that cover more than half of the picture that those are exceptions. I think for sure that the Demitasse Lassi set will not repeat any ingredients, and if I was going to eliminate an ingredient that would be a HUGE factor in deciding if I should use it... I certainly would think twice if it was listed as already in the set because that gives it a worse chance of being in the recipe, true or false in the end. It would do nothing but hurt recipe-solvers to take that information away so we couldn't know what ingredients we might want to stay away from. Originally Posted by fumble99 Does that mean DemiTasse lassi is definitely a blender recipe? I thought it could be either stove or blender and we did not know for a fact which one? Has that been updated with more recent info????? If so awesome!! Demitasse Lassi is more than likely a blender recipe because all recipe sets have followed the pattern 3 stove, 2 blender/2 sandwich maker/1 blender 1 sandwich maker. The only exception is the Abra set, but that one was BALANCED. It wouldn't make sense for Ganz to release a set with 4 stove recipes and 1 on another appliance. The only other possible appliance is the sandwich maker which simply doesn't make sense. I would bet that Demitasse Lassi is in the blender for sure because of this and I personally wouldn't try combinations on any other appliance for it.
EDIT: By the way, I clarified that DL eliminations are all in the blender and updated the DL eliminations picture. The only thing that stumbles me is that the Strawberry Yogurt and Bottled Water are already eliminated from the blender yet they are the key ingredients in Lassi... That is what confuses me... soooomeeeeoonee didn't see my post and experimented with the yogurt anyways LOL
I'm just so confused with these eliminated ingredients, it's making me reconsider the stove... Last edited by Xma92fx; 10-08-2009 at 11:16 PM.. | | | 10-09-2009, 07:06 AM | #334 | Call me Pat! It is a good point but I believe it is a blender recipe. The recipe that really surprised me when it was made on the stove was bubbaberriboo. | | | 10-10-2009, 12:41 AM | #335 | ontonwekly Webkinz :) Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 410 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! WOW!! Great work on all of this thread. It must've taken forever. I couldn't have done it. I will personally try working on the recipe. | | | 10-11-2009, 01:05 AM | #336 | Gift Guru Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 17,999 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! The theory is well and truly dead - burger was in Demitasse Lassi so it was a wrong assumption that an ingredient would not be repeated in a set | | | 10-11-2009, 02:51 PM | #337 | Gifted Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 339 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! Have you also noted that the background on the congrats you have solved a recipe is now different. There is no way to tell what catagory it now falls into. (stove/blender/sandwich make).
Aslo Webkinz World does not show the congrats you have made it only shows a picture of the solved recipe with no background, so there is no help there. | | | 10-18-2009, 03:13 PM | #338 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Oct 2009 Posts: 645 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place! I was surprised when I heard that farm food was in a recipe. That explains why no one figured it out for years. Maybe I can trade the recipe in the clubhouse. I have too much farm fresh food. | | | 10-20-2009, 05:18 PM | #339 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Apr 2009 Posts: 36 | Re: All W-Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe Pictures In One Convenient Place!
