That, together with your mention of that creepy spider as a possible mutant raisin in Spinneretti, made me have bad dreams monkeecj! I dreamed a week or two ago that there were raisins in that new Abracaldo Dabra (which I think is really cool looking). In the dream, I mixed it up and tried to use it as a potion to no avail: the magic would not work for me since I always hated raisins as a kid. The magic effect was lost to me since I had closed my mind to the goodness of raisins somehow. As a good witch, I could only do white magic, but could not use the raisins without that old hatred getting mixed in as well and ruining the batch. Indeed, I could only imagine evil-death sort of dark spells with raisins. All very frustrating, especially since I like purple so much and the Abracaldo Dabra is so very pleasing looking.

After the dream, which was a few weeks back, we did try raisins and pumpkin in the blender the next day, but had no success. Some of those combinations made me shudder and gag just imagining mixing them together! Yuck. Guess I ought not imagine actually EATING them.

sydney88's latest contest makes me wonder how Ganz makes secret recipes... and I think I got some pretty good insight on that by creating my own!

In the case of ingredients used, I tallied up the number of times each ingredient in the W Shop was used by a member of sydney88's contest. I will post all that were used more than 3 times, the ingredients that were not used at all in the contest, and next to the top-used and never-used the number of times Ganz has used that ingredient in secret recipes.

But it is a pretty easy to use ingredient for a recipe...

you can add baked potato to the list of ingredients not in YTT, of course my combos did not include the 12 within the set.

I think eggs fit very well as an ingredient here - they make up the clouds. A search for recipes with clouds was conducted the other day, and (note: Fried Callistorm does contain both eggs in the recipe and clouds in the picture) I noticed that no other really had clouds with a shape so similar to that of the eggs. I think that was a fine choice on Chef Gazpacho's part - a big portion of a hot air balloon ride will be made up of a recognition of the numerous clouds floating by. I think an ingredient to make up these cumulus objects was absolutely necessary. Also, the picture of eggs is so full of a variety of colors that it does a good job of being the "basket" (it was also noticed that eggs may be related to baskets for other reasons).




I do not participate in the solving of recipes, but i do work on them on my own at home. The very first ingrediant i thought of when i saw this recipe was eggs. The reason I thoought of eggs is because if you look at the top of the balloon it looks like a souffle and the main ingredient in a souffle is EGGS. Maybe after having time to look through entire thread and a few questions i may have i will see if i can maybe join all of you insolving recipes. What do I have to do to join you?

Peach can be added to the list of ingredients eliminated from YTT, and everyone knows that the 12 within the set was not tried with peach.
