Has anyone trie the Symphoscone in the sandwhich maker instead of the stove. I was looking at it and it looks like maybe it's a sandwhich.

We are 99.999% (as close as you can get to 100% without BEING 100%) that Symphoscone is on the STOVE. Here is our reasoning - each set of 5 recipes released has followed this pattern: 3 Stove, and 2 Blender OR 2 Sandwich Maker OR 1 Blender and 1 Sandwich Maker. That means that no matter the number of blender or sandwich maker recipes, the stove will always have 3 recipes released.

For the set that came out with Symphoscone, there have been 2 blender recipes solved and 2 stove recipes solved. Since there is still one stove recipe missing, that leaves Symphoscone on the stove.

I love your comparison of the ingredients to the plant on a cellular level. Shows great imagination or maybe you also have studied plant life. I love trying to solve the new recipes. There are so many elements of them to consider. You have done a wonderful job putting it all together for everyone to see and enjoy. Congratulations Monkeecj

Thank you so much for your comment. I can't seem to remember why I got the urge to break down the recipes piece by piece in this thread.... most likely because I had already been doing it in my mind for quite some time! It just seems to make sense to compare the parts to the whole - at some point Ganz was doing the same thing. By placing these interesting comparisons here it makes it easier to visualize ideas the way Ganz may have, and forces a person to expand their ideas outside of the norm... it expands my mind as I am putting these pictures together and every time I return to visit.

No, I have not studied plant life before (no more than the normal person) so I suppose "great imagination" is the answer... not that I would definitely call it "great."

Thank you again. I hope it has also given you some new thoughts towards these puzzles.

So...I have a question. Since YTT came out with the thought from Ganz of there being ingredients not used before, are we taking into account that this direction may have changed course seeing as YTT was part of the second *i think* recipe groups and that many ingredients may now have been used many times or more than once?

A few new updates have been added. I added AChip's thread that dealt with unused ingredients because it was closed.

The biggest difference you will notice is that I moved the W Shop Foods and Unsolved Recipe pictures up on the thread! They are up higher for your convenience! ALSO notice that the part at the top that says "Inside This Thread:" is now in chronological order, so with all the great sections you can find them more easily!!

We have to look at what ingredients were not used when YTT came out. All ones unused before that were in a later recipe (like green grapes) are STILL viable because they were unused when YTT came out. Of course, all the ingredients never used in a secret recipe or only used once are still our best bet.

But that just disregards all other eliminations and ideas we have had. That would be based on if Plumpy was telling the truth or not.

ok, so I am trying to find a list of ALL combos tried for YTT, would that be included in Amneris's thread of ingredients tried in alphabetical order?

Also, the pictures of YTT and foods NOT in YTT, are those absolutes? I didn't know about the pics with no asterisks on them.
I am still building up my KC to try more recipes, but would like to work on YTT being solved this month!!

All combos that have ever been tried for YTT are on Amneris' list. My list is simplifying that without using specific combos.

The pictures of foods NOT in YTT are ALMOST absolutes. It depends on if the YTT set of recipes will repeat an ingredient used in them (so that YTT might have root beer or orange, etc.). The pictures WITH the asterisks are foods that have been eliminated solely on the fact that in each set of recipes Ganz has never used an ingredient more than once. The pictures WITHOUT the asterisks are foods that have been eliminated completely on the blender, but SOMETIMES exclude those 12 ingredients from the YTT set.

So, if the YTT set does not repeat any of those 12 ingredients (it most likely won't), then every single one of those foods is absolutely eliminated from YTT.
