Shimmering Gold Dress Too Big?

Just got a shimmering gold dress but it will not store in any closet, dresser or wardrobe! Has this always been this way???

It there a solution?

Is there other clothing items that don't fit into storage units?

I have my Gold Dress in one of the Bamboo chests and I have had it a locker before. Have not noticed any problem with it or any other peice of clothing.

Well, I am at a loss! I can't get my gold dress into anything. I have to leave it in my dock or on a pet. This is odd.

My shimmering gold dress fits into the space theme dresser and a vortex storage unit but not in the Giant Gift box.

Some other clothing does not fit into storage. Such as my purple ball cap and red sport pants. If you try a few different storage containers, some will fit the gold dress.
