Here's what I tried (attempt at making the "green argyle cap-sleeve dress" in the background of the store)

Sundress + Kinzville Academy Dress + Argyle Sweater = Patchwork Clothes.
Sundress + Green Pants + Argyle Sweater = Patchwork Clothes.

My attempt at making a purple top one of our WI members found in a Kinzville Academy class...

Sundress + Tank Top + Purple Kilt = Patchwork Clothes.

No luck so far...

I think the normal patchwork items are random, you do not get the pants, shirt or hat with a specific combo - just randomly with any non-special combo.

I tried:

pink bow + swim goggles + daisy clip = patchwork shirt

blue t shirt + green pants + eyeglasses = patchwork pants

pink tights + red tshirt + purple sneakers = patchwork hat

if someone wants patchwork pants, you can put dude hat, black shirt, and black shoes, all together to get patchwork pants!
