BREAKING NEWS: Ganz Changes KinzStyle Bag Programming

Thank you to Webkinz Insider member catsinparadise for calling our attention to an important change in the KinzStyle Bag programming. As many of you know, to visit the KinzStyle Shop in Webkinz World you must first enter a feature code from one of the plushie clothing items. That feature code gives you a KinzStyle Shop Shopping Bag, which, when you drag it into your room, opens the KinzStyle Shop. Each time you drag the bag into your room you have the option of purchase one of eighteen different items of clothing that cannot be purchased in the regular wShop. If you don't see an item of clothing you want to purchase you can exit out of the shop, and the bag will return to your dock.

Until recently, you could exit out of the Shop and go back into the Shop in the same visit to Webkinz World, and the items in the shop would change. With nearly 100 different items of clothing in the Shop, you might have to go in and out several times to find the item of clothing you wanted to purchase. Now the programming of the bag has been changed. If you want to look at different items for sale, you have to exit out of the shop, log out of Webkinz World, log back into Webkinz World, go to your Room, and open the Shop again. If you don't log out of Webkinz World between visits to the Shop, you will see the same eighteen items each time you drag the bag into your room. Logging out of Webkinz World seems to be the only way to get the Shop to reset.

Oh this is bad. I'm proabbaly not buying anymore kinzstyle now maybe just trading for it. (I have 3 - the Jean Jacket, the light blue skirt, and the Rainbow skirt)

I was really scared while reading this news article - I thought the programming would be changed to only allowing us to open the bag once or only allowing a certain selection of clothing per bag...logging out is very cumbersome but why make such a strange change like that?! What purpose does it serve other than to inconvenience someone.

Personally I feel as if Ganz has way too many interns playing with the programming! This is another time waste (having to log out and back in) which definitely needs fixing! Guess it's time to call in and write, LOL!

KINSTYLE SHOP GLITCH

Why would they deliberately change the programming to do that? Is it not a glitch that is going to be fixed? It took me almost an hour just to get 1 item and what use to be fun is nothing but total frustration. Average shopping time is a minimum 20 minutes (if you're lucky) when you add in the slow login loading, then waiting to get 'items from storage' to get the bag, then waiting to load the room, then drop the bag and wait for Kinzstyle shop to load, then wait while it closes because your item isn't there, then log out and start all over again. How fun is that? I can't see it being deliberate and hope they fix it soon.

This is another silly mistake by Ganz. I love the site but sometimes these things (minor that it may be) makes playing the game tedious and unpleasant. Please fix Ganz!
