how can i be hard on rooms that look fantastic! ;d
you and your kids did an absolutely stellar, lovely, wonderful job decorating!!!
Very impressive!! You all should be very proud of yourselves
It must've taken a ton of kc to put some of those themes together.
Egyptian- aside from my newly favored halloween theme, the egyptian them is my favorite. I've completed the theme except for the walls, floors, and scribe's desk. The way you have the two beds set up in the middle-back corner with the symmetrical lamps and pillar in the back looks gorgeous. I find putting more than one bed in a room can sometimes look awkward but i love the symmetry you use here and you really showcase these beautiful pieces
medieval-wow. I've been on
ww for almost a year now and i've only been able to collect a small percentage of this theme, and what i have collected, i've been completely unsuccessful at organizing the pieces together so the room looks good. Currently i took these with some ancient pieces and they share a little cramped 7x7 room because i don't know what to do with them. Congrats on finding all the pieces to this theme and it really looks like a model room displaying the theme
ancient civilization theme- i've found it difficult to make the pieces i have look good with the wallpaper, but i really like how you've arranged the pieces here. As i'm looking at the picture, do you have a column in front of a column in the back corner? Columns are large beautiful pieces and you should showcase them! If i may make a suggestion, try placing them next to the two doors in the front of the room. So you'd place one in the right side of the door on the left, and the second on the left side of the door on the right. (i hope that made sense

) that way when a webkinz walks in it feels like they're really going inside a structure where they are surrounded by pillars on all sides. I bought a few of those ionic columns from the wstore and lined the unwalled section of the room, spacing them about 2-3 spaces from each other so it kind of encloses the rooms in pillars.
just a suggestion! you can try it out, decide you don't like it then not use it.
Cat's hideaway-aww! I love the rainbow wallpaper! And i was always afraid of getting the cat playground because it's a bulky item, but i think you managed to make it look really nice!
Classroom- verrrry cool! (i see the teacher just got back from vacation!

)
beach cafe- i feel like i'm in hawaii with all the beautiful orchids! And it's brilliant how you used the bamboo toy trunks as countertops! I really like that
country room- believe it or not, i've never thought to put the country theme with the gaming wallpaper, but they look really nice together! I really like the offsetting of the lime green desk chairs and the apple chairs
diner- i like how you used those windows!
Frog hotel and motel- looks like a lot of "hoppy" customers!
Glam boutique- i like how you used the lime green furniture with the pink! Good contrast!
Rainbow lounge- if dorothy could go over the rainbow, this is where she'd be. It's very calm
the backyards are lovely
and it looks like the spooktacular diner is ready to host one really large halloween party! I know your kinz are going to have a blast this holiday. Can't wait to see what their christmas room is going to look like!
Your sense of spacing in every room is really wonderful. Some rooms have a lot of items in them which can lead to problems of cramping, but i don't see that at all. All the pieces in each room flow very nicely with each other in colors and spacing, and it looks like one cohesive living space which can be very difficult to do without getting that cluttered look. Again, my applause on such a lovely home and thank you so much for sharing!
