I have never been into pirates but your ship looks like a wonderful and magical place to visit and stay. I love your stories that tie it all together so wonderfully. The great whimsy spread threw out. I also love that you have immortalized Philip, what a gift for us all to have him remembered in such a wonderful way. What child wouldn't love it even us big children.

Carolyn Carolyn --
Thank you so much.
Your comments here have made my day. I never planned to immortalize Philip, I just wanted to make him smile and laugh. When Legalcat told me that Philip would laugh out loud at the silly webkinz pirate stories that I posted on his caringbridge site, I decided to name my ship after him. And I must admit, I kept doing pirate stories because he inspired me.
I think that all of us at WI took his loss hard. When I found a little W Cares Lion one day in Walgreens, I knew that one would be my special memorial to my favorite Pirate King.
It was an absolute pleasure having you visit my ship, particularly since you are one of the most amazing and inventive house designers on WI. I am so glad that the decorating trophy found its way home to your wonderful and whimsical horse stable.
Huzzah!

Your ship is Tip-Top. I love the sunken ship area, and after reading your post it is nice to know the specs of it. Your ship is definitely awe inspiring.

Pirate Honeymoon Concluded: Elephant Smuggling by the White Fort! Searching for Treasure in the Xmas Tree Forest! Touring the Sunken Ship -- An Entire House in Pirate Theme! Ahoy Hmm! I don't think I have commented on your new holiday brunch room and your revised Galley yet although I have looked at them over and over. They are fabulous. Your brunch room is a totally unique underwater room and a great entry for the contest. The columns you used for the candles look wonderful (maybe I did tell you that - it seems familiar when I type it but maybe I just thought about typing it?!?). I tried using a column in that way in one of my rooms last night but the candle didn't work in that room (the column looked great LOL!). And your galley - wow! What a change. I hope the honemooners love it when they get home (they should!). My eye keeps getting drawn to the windows every time I look at the room. I love the open feeling they give the room.
By the way, check out my siggy! I am so excited - I finally started my own house thread. I wish I had the creative flair that you do and could come up with a storyline for the thread but alas, that probably will not happen (or at least not now - maybe some day inspiration will strike). I hope people enjoy it anyways. | | | 01-07-2009, 02:04 PM | #529 | Eliphalet Gift Guru Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 6,403 | Re: 1/5/09 Hmm's Pirate Palace -- A New Kitchen for Ganpati -- Arrr!!!
