Meanwhile, back at the Ship... A New Kitchen for Ganpati!
Pirate Captain Johann and Winston the Gorilla are telling me that they are tired of being left out of this story. Both Johann and Winston pointed cannons in my direction until I promised to give an update on what they were doing while everyone was away on their epic journey.
As a gesture of goodwill to the newly married couple, they have been redecorating. They moved Ganpati's bed out of the Galley, figuring that he will want to share a room with Shanti now.
They have completely revamped the Galley with more seating, lighter colored woodwork, new windows and lights, and brand new counters. They even added a jukebox after reading about it in a fancy decorating magazine featuring that great designer, SaltyMac.
Pirate Captain Johann suggested that maybe they should move out the big brain in the Thinking Tank where Ganpati stores all his weirdest recipes. Winston asked if Johann wanted to eat peanutbutter sandwiches for the rest of his life, and Johann decided that maybe some of the recipes weren't that bad...
Do you think Ganpati will like their new surprise?

Yes, I agree. The new one is much better. Who would have thought that Christmas and Pirate and Mad Science go so well together? BTW, diner couches also go well with those holly jolly tables. This could start a whole new trend in holiday diners.
I love this Xmas theme. I am going to spend a fortune tomorrow buying up furniture not for trading but for ME.

hmm~~~ i love the way you used the pirate sofas with the tables from christmas. and the inflatable palm tree just gives the room a real kick. as does the thoughtful think tank.

As I told you, it was FABULOUS to receive that jukebox in your giveaway. I was just revamping my kitchen, and trying to figure out what else it needed. And then I open my kinzpost and voila! The finishing touch!
