So this is my first attempt at a house thread, and I hope everyone enjoys it! My DD and I have worked hard over the past half a year or so to build our wonderful little Webkinz mansion. I know our rooms are not the most spectacular in the world, but we are really proud of all of them, and we hope you all like looking at them!
Our little friend whom you will see from time to time in many of the rooms is our new POTM White Terrier, Sherri. You see, she was just getting her first tour of her new home too!

*UPDATE 6/8/10: Many rooms on posts # 1 and 2 have been refurbished, and several new rooms are going to be added over the next few days! New rooms begin halfway through post #2. Take a look around and feel free to tell us what you think!

The room I will begin with is one of the first that my DD and I decorated, and it was also our first of several cat rooms. This is the room where Kaia (the Silversoft cat) and Izzy (the lil Persian) sleep. . .
UPDATE 7/10/10: This room just got some new wallpaper.


Here is another cat room, it is the apartment where the Tabby family lives. Oreo (Black and White), Annie (Pink and White), Sissy (Grey and White), and Maggie (Striped Alley) love the views they get from their high-rise apartment windows.
UPDATE 6/8/10: The Tabby family recently redecorated and welcomed a new addition to their family, Sunshine the lil Orange and White cat. You can see her playing in her Zum costume with her sisters.



This is the last cat room, and it is still a work in progress. This is where Falyn (Himalayan), CeeCee (Charcoal), and Cookie (Domino) sleep and hang out.
UPDATE 6/8/10: We just spruced this room up a bit, adding a little green for spring.



Next up is the first room that my DD designed and decorated all on her own, our Classroom. . .


Now we will make a quick stop at the bathroom, which is another one of the first rooms we made (and I love the rubber ducky from Ms. Birdy that my DD later put beside the bathtub).


We have more than 80 pets on our account, so needless to say, we have a lot of balloons. Here is what I did with some of them one day when I was bored. . .

Here is one of my favorite rooms, and it is the one that took the longest to put together. It is where Cleopatra and her twin Callie sleep. We are still currently missing a few pieces from the theme, but I love the way it looks so far. . .
UPDATE 6/8/10: Our Egyptian theme is complete! And the twins now have matching Egyptian outfits too.


Here is another room that is still in progress. Our resident gem trader has been hard at work haggling with Doug, but it's been slow going.
UPDATE 6/8/10: Our Doug prize collection is now also complete! (Although a couple of the items are in other rooms, like the gem fountain which has to go outside.) And a new gem miner named Donkey has taken up residence here.


Here is the horse room where Duke (Grey Arabian), Aladdin (Albino), Aurora (Pink Pony), and Rose (Lil Clydesdale) sleep and hang out. They were so happy to get the bale of hay from the Jumbleberry Fields game, so now they have something to snack on!


Right next door is the farm room where Ginny (Possum), Rudy (Rooster), Giuliana (B&W cow), and Belle (Brown cow) all reside.
UPDATE 6/8/10: Well this is sort of a strange story here. You see, Ginny went a bit mad a while back and moved into another room. She has decided to dedicate her time to something other than farming. Don’t worry though, it will all make sense when you see her new room in post # 2. Giuliana and Belle’s friend Clarabelle (the Sig. Cow) recently moved into the farm room, and they are all quite happy grazing in the grass together. And Rudy makes sure not to let them sleep in too late either!



We will now go outside for a minute to see the forest where Mountain King (Sig. Timber Wolf) and Earl (Moose) live. There is still a lot of empty space here, but the boys like to be able to roam.
UPDATE 6/8/10: The boys got some new hammocks, more trees, and a pond too. Their forest feels more like home to them now.


Next up is the dragon room. This is where the Lava Dragon twins, Draco and Jack (the Pumpkin King) like to hang out with Sunshine (Citrus dragon) and Shang (Emperor dragon).


Bubba the Portuguese Water Dog loves the beach so much that my DD decided to give him a beach bedroom. He is so proud of the huge sandcastle he got when we adopted him.


Here we have the Space Station from where Brutus (Sig. German Shepherd) keeps watch over his Webbie buddies.


The space station is situated just above Roscoe the Schnauzer's private moon.


When Brutus or Roscoe need any of their space vehicles worked on, they bring them to Louis the Pug. He is currently keeping part of our car collection in his garage.



When any of our Webbies get hungry, they head over to the Diner. This is another one of the first rooms that my DD helped decorate, and I love the eclectic mix of items.


This is the only underwater room in the house. It is where Sharptooth (Shark), Sebastian (Dolphin), and Ariel (Seahorse) spend most of their time.


This is one of the oldest rooms in our house (although we updated the walls and floor when the new Kids Theme came out). My DD loves to bring her Webbies here and play some games to win a little kinzcash.

Here are some more rooms. I hope you enjoy!


This is the jungle cat bedroom where Harry Potter (Lil Leopard), Chelsea (Sig. Cheetah), Tigress (Bengal Tiger), and Mulan (Black Panther) love being roommates.




When the jungle cats want to hang out, they go next door into their den where they can watch tv on their friend Georgina the Giraffe's tv.




And this is the bedroom of Georgina the Giraffe and her friend and fellow explorer, Jumbo the elephant. (My DD got the idea for the train from looking at other houses here on WI.)
UPDATE 6/8/10: This room was changed up quite a bit. There are new walls, floors, and decorations. I also changed the couches that make up the train (they used to be old kid theme couches because they were cheap lol). I also placed a POTM steam powered TV behind the train bed to make it look like a steam engine.



We have a couple of other jungle cats, but they think of themselves as royalty and therefore prefer to live in a castle. You can see Khan the Lion and She-Ra the Lioness sitting proudly on their thrones.




All of our Webbies like going to the movies, so of course we made them a Movie Theater. Here is the lobby. . .
UPDATE 6/8/10: This room was just rearranged and the new Monkey and Monkey movie poster was added.




And here is the Movie Theater itself. My DD liked the idea of having all of our Exclusive plants in one room, so I put them all here. I know our "movie screen" is less than impressive, but I doubt I'll ever have that big screen! (And our Webbies like this one just fine, lol)
UPDATE 6/8/10: Well I doubted it, but it actually happened… I got the movie theater screen! I still don’t believe I got it, but here it is. And I think our Webbies are all very pleased.




This is the Ice Room where Goo-Goo G'Joob (Walrus), MacKenzie (Husky), Snowflake (Arctic Fox), Norma Jean (Sig. Penguin), and Gloria (Baby Penguin) all live together. It is one of my personal favorite rooms.




Next we have Aquamarine the Blufadoodle's room. I need our Zum to give us some Zummies so I can add more cloud furniture to this room. . .




This is Miette's bedroom and bakery. Just days after making this room, I won the baker's outfit by feeding one of our pets a Sugarberry. DD was thrilled (and so was I)!




This is the Princess Palace bedroom that Sparkles (the Whimsy Dragon) and Starlite (the Ribbon Unicorn) share. I can't wait until more of this theme becomes available to non-Deluxe members!
UPDATE 6/8/10: I think this room looks much better now that I added the Medieval walls and floor, and we have been able to get several more pieces of the Princess Palace theme. I was also able to get a deluxe wall chandelier, which is such a pretty item.




Here is Tenderheart the Love Lion's bedroom, and I'm pretty pleased with how this one turned out. My DD noticed that when you make a pet wave when they are seated in front of the piano, it looks like they are playing it!

　

UPDATE 6/8/10:
Here is the first of several rooms that are new to our house thread. This is Ginny the possum’s new room. She used to live on the farm with the cows, but she decided that she wanted to spend her time trying to solve some scientific mysteries. So now she stays in her laboratory doing experiments all day long. Sometimes she has friends spend the night, and she loves analyzing their dreams.



This is our dining room, and here you can see many of our pets gathered for an autumn feast. (They can’t wait to get a berry pie to add to their table!)



This is the Haunted Halloween room where Glinda (the Black Cat) and Batty (the Bat) live and keep guard over the beast behind the haunted gate.



This is the Christmas bedroom where Minty Pattie (the Peppermint Pup) and Dasher (the Reindeer) sleep and help Santakinz prepare for the holiday.



Here is Minty Pattie and Dasher’s den. This is where they have their holiday parties, and where the little ones can come and line up to see Santakinz.



This is the Spring bedroom where Easter Bunny (the Marshmallow Bunny), White Rabbit (the lil white rabbit), and Lambchop (the lil sheep) live. You can see White Rabbit is on his way out the door, late as usual. Lambchop sometimes feels a little left out, being the only one who’s not a bunny. So to make her feel a little better, her friends got her a pair of bunny ears of her very own to wear.


Here we have the Rainbow Room, where Deirdre (the Clover Pup) and Rainbow Brite (the Rainbow Armadillo) spend most of their time. Right now they are deep in discussion with Earl about the land that lies over the rainbow.



This is our bowling alley where our Webbies like to hang out. Aladdin is the best bowler in our Webkinz family, so he likes to wear the bowling shirt. Many of the trophies in the trophy case were won by him, including a couple for bowling 300’s.



This is the little market where our Webbies can stop and get some fresh-picked berries, a cup of coffee, a sweet treat, fresh-cut flowers, and so much more.

UPDATE 6/15/10: Here are some more rooms that are new to our house thread! Enjoy!

This is Ringo’s bedroom. She and her band love to perform for friends, and everyone likes to stop by to admire her lava lamp collection.


Colonel William’s room reflects his love for medieval history. His room is also where we keep most of our trophies.


This is the bedroom for a few of our little girl doggies. You can see Sherri (the White Terrier), Picnic (the Tawny Pup), and Gracie (the Springer Spaniel) enjoying a little tea party.


This is the road in front of our Webkinz mansion. You can see that it is a pretty busy street! (Someday soon I want to finish the front yard that is “behind” the fence.)


Here is Shimmer (the Strawberry Cloud Leopard)’s strawberry garden. It looks like she and her friends need to get harvesting!


And here is the pumpkin garden, which is tended by a turkey named Pumpkin Pie.


This is one of my favorite outdoor rooms- the Play Yard. Everyone especially loves playing with Foxy Loxy (the small Sig. Fox)’s slide and Cheshire Cat (the Bubblegum Cheeky Cat)’s ball pit.


This is our magical spring garden, seen here in full bloom. You never know what fairies or sprites you might find hiding among the trees and flowers!


UPDATE 7/16/10: A few more rooms!

Here is the backyard where our Webbies love to hang out during the warm summer afternoons.


Here is Shang's bedroom. He is named after a character from the Disney movie Mulan.


And this is our new soccer stadium, inspired by the Webkinz Soccer Challenge. This is the final match for the trophy, and you can see the coach on the sidelines and the fans cheering their favorite team to victory!
