To Water or Not To Water

I have read (on other forums) that watering your garden is not necessary. As long as you rake and harvest your plants will be fine. Does anyone know if this is true?

This is what i have heard too... I think maybe (and i have no idea) that the amount you harvest will be lower. by one or whatever. no confirmation though.

Don't worry! You DO NOT have to water! Just rake and harvest! It doesn't even make a difference in plants! If you have any more questions, please feel free to VM me!

It is true. I have 9 gardens and I do not water any of them. The results are the same, so you dont have to worry about watering anymore.

Agree about not needing to water. I was skeptical until I didnt water for a full growing cycle and I made about the same as with watering. Not sure exactly if their is a difference but it saves a lot of time.

I just tried it successfully last week! Water only when you put new plants out, then let em go!

(Well, rake and harvest, of course.)

I was nervous because it seemed I got more weeds at first, but the harvest was the same, and it sure saved a lot of time not watering all the time.

Here's another test I did at the same time: brand new garden, raked every day, and they all got harvested at the same time. I'd been afraid their cycle would change if they had to be raked more often, and some wouldn't be ready to harvest with the rest, but they all stayed on cycle without watering!

Yes, that is correct. You do not need to water. Just rake, harvest and dig if neccessary . Hope I helped!

I never water my garden. Just rake, harvest, and dig whenever you need to , and they will grow perfectly fine.
