Hi again everyone!

I am just glad that I could help....I had found that farming was the easiest way for me to earn money when I was time crunched and not good at games. I then figured out that if I could plan my crops by days of the week....(or, at least have one harvest each day) it would be a LOT less stressful when times got busy.....

Well, again, I will always say---the difference in the carrots and strawberries are SO CLOSE that if you already have strawberries planted, REALLY think before digging them all up and selling them and buying carrots...because, if you have ONLY strawberries, and you have a FULL field of them, and MULTIPLE fields, you will be losing money initially, and it is a large investment to change over to carrots from strawberries all for that little profit margin...

BUT, if you were like me, and you have vision problems....I just happened to find carrots EASIER/which made it faster...as I could quickly and easily tell without having to use the INSPECT tool....to see if they needed raked or not.

ps---you can NEVER beat free when it comes to those garden seeds!! (ok, perhaps having your kids tend your garden for you....THAT would be AWESOME!---lol---but, I do not think that would happen very often, or for long....)

Day One for Carrots Sat 12/06/08:


Farm's Maze: 44 Seeds Total
15 needed one more day (8 days to harvest, watered the slackers)
29 were ready at 7 days harvest (held so they would be in line with the rest)

I planted 3 carrot fields last week on my other account...so, now I have 2 accounts with crops...

So far, I am not having any problems with the carrots lately (only several weeks ago did I have a problem one or 2 days where they had everything goof with the harvesting cycle---like half or 1/3 of the field was off by a day). My sister though is still having a big problem with her strawberries constantly being off by a day here a day there---she is moving them around constantly so they are all the same in a row...

Her's are set up like this:

S S S S -------S S S S

S S S S--------S S S S


(the S represents STRAWBERRIES)----- represents space between where you can walk between them. And there is a solid space between them the rows as well.

and she has been trying to let them sit in a row if she has to by one day until the one next to them is ready for harvest even...and then harvest all together in that row...and they STILL goof the following week.

But, for me...

I am averaging 200 a week per 100 plant field. (for the carrots)
none of mine are glitching luckily...but, they have been planted for months, other than those 3 new fields....

Not sure if this is of any help.

yes, it is helpful fluffernutter. it might be server related. how annoying. how many days is it taking your carrots to harvest?

i have designs with my gardens. i can show them to you, if you like.

Day Two for Carrots Sun 12/07/08:

Farm's Maze: After sitting a day, all 44 seeds were ready to harvest. total yield was 80 carrots. (oh man i got ripped off by 8 carrots!)

The Mud Room: 38 Seeds Total
10 (26.3%) needed one more day (8 days to harvest, watered the slackers)
28 (73.7%) were ready at 7 days harvest (held so they would be in line with the rest)
side note: had to leave room and come back so i could water the slackers. its like they were stuck.
