AS many of you have already complained, I'm tired of those people who quit a game as soon as it looks like their opponent is winning.
So I propose that there should be a nominal kinzcash fee for leaving after a certain amount of moves, like if it's close to the middle of the game and the opponent leaves, they should lose 3 kinzcash.
While this isn't a huge amount, I think it's enough that constat quitters will hopefully quit quitting. I was playing in the tournament area yesterday morning and I had five people quit on me in a row because they were losing. If these types of people are such sore losers that they will not even finish a game, they should not be playing in the first place. And on top of that, two of them then asked me to be their friends. I would rather be friends with a loser than a quitter. | | | 07-15-2009, 02:20 PM | #3 | Webkinz :) Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 1,001 | Re: Stop those quitters! I agree with you...
I also think that you should still recieve a portion of kinzcash if the other player quits... | | | 07-15-2009, 02:21 PM | #4 | Smiles R Contagious Wiki SysOp Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 43,991 | Re: Stop those quitters! I think your penatly sounds good.
You could also award a bonus for those that stay to the end. It's a little more positive. | | | 07-16-2009, 09:13 PM | #5 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 35 | Re: Stop those quitters! sounds good. This especially upsets me if I'm playing battleship or something else that awards a good deal of kinzcash. It takes me forever just to make like 100kc just because people keep quitting. | | | 07-19-2009, 08:46 PM | #6 | Gift Trainee Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 414 | Re: Stop those quitters! i agree with u | | | 07-19-2009, 09:03 PM | #7 | ekgym3 Gifted Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 1,250 | Re: Stop those quitters! I think that your proposal is reasonable in some aspects, but what if you need to go somewhere and you HAVE to quit the game. That is the problem. It is hard to punish the quiters because you don't know if they are just being poor sports or they need to leave. Otherwise, I think that Ganz would've created some kind of system to stop people from quiting because they aren't winning. I totally agree that it is super annoying when people quit because they aren't winning though. If you aren't winning, just **** it up. You still get kinzcash, you feel a lot better than you would if you would've quit, and you are helping the winner by not depriving them of their rightfully earned kinzcash. Thanks for posting your proposal. It is a great idea. =)

I think that the system should just be left the way it is. That is my opinion.
But great idea!

When folks quit they loose out on ANY KC whatsoever and you get the $$ automatically. The other day I made over $100 KC in a matter of a few minutes and another $360 KC in an hour. I can't even get that from Eager Beaver in that time.
My real inquiry is: If you know you don't have time to actually play a PVP game, then why would you start one?
I originally complained (to myself) about the quitters in the PVP too, but I have moved up the complaint food chain to the blank jellybean challenge page, no dart on quizzy's challenge and the 6,000,000 Bingo winners every day resetting my card before I can even spin the barrel .
If we don't turn our negatives into positives it will ruin our fun.
So the next time someone quits on you- check out the $$KC$$ you have just made in those few minutes and remember they didn't get ANY ! ~ WI 50ish | | | 07-19-2009, 10:38 PM | #10 | ho likes yodeling? Gifted Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 505 | Re: Stop those quitters! That is a good idea!!
Great thinking.
