A couple months ago (before I joined) I saw webbie rip offs at big y. They were cat-nip filled googles. Not a platapus, because they had 2 googles feet, not 4 duck feet, and they had eyebrows. They came in white, blue, pink, teal, and purple.

I don't really think it's a "rip-off". Look at Shining Stars plushies for example,or Build-A-Bear Ville! They all use the same concept,but they're not identical.
Maybe they wanted it to look more cutesy/cartoon-ish,instead of a realistic Platypus. I have a pink platypus toy for my dog,and even though it may look like a webbie,it actually isn't

Yeah, I don't think it's a rip off. It's just a toy for a cat, well I hope it's a toy for cats since it full of catnip!

Ok, you can say that rip-off is a little big for it, and I respect that, but imagine this. Take the lil' googles. And make it half size. That was it. I'm not trying to fight, just... maybe it's just coincidence. I take that back, now I'm just suggesting they ripped 'em off. Just forget what said altogether, if you want.
