I dont get this Im not telling any one to do this but the first 3 letters of the f curse works That is stupid

I just tried to name my black panther Ebenezer after Scrooge, but it won't let me. What is the letter combination that is the problem. It took me forever to think of a name, plus I had a neat room all thought out for him and everything. I am so bummed. I don't really want to use Scrooge. I like the name Ebenezer. I guess I'll go back and try to figure it ou. Can someone please help?


Ok, I went back and tried it again. It is the "zer" that is the problem. Interestingly enough, it will not let me use any other vowel with the z*r. I can't use zar, zir, zur, or zor either. I changed the z to another consonant and that worked fine, so it has something to do with the z-r. HELP!!!! What can I do? I really like this name and I'd really like to use it.

It appears that "nez" is banned. Ebeneezer works.

I tried Ebeneezer and it was okay on my account. That is interresting that you can't use "zer".

You know, I never really tried "zer" by itself. Went back and did. It was fine. I had just been deleting the letters from the end back. Guess I didn't know how to do it right. I used Ebeneezer on mine and it was fine. Thanks so much. It really bugs me to spell words wrong. This is the first time I've done it, as it's one of my pet peeves (bad spelling). But that doesn't look too bad. I guess I'll just have to live with it. Thanks for your help.

I have no idea why they ban such letter combinations within words. It is just silly that people can't name their pets with acceptable names (like Ebenezer, Michelle, Shelly, Buttercup, ....)

I have had the hopes of naming my deer Monhegan for a long time. Without this thread, I wouldn't be able to find a cure for Monhegan's name. Her name is now M0nhegan.

i'm not that fond of misspellings, either. the good thing is that names can often be spelled uniquely and/or differently so it's not that terrible.

My sister tried to name her grey squirrel 'Rita Lita' and it said no. We found out that 'rital' is not accepted. Even if it has a space or - after the a and before the l. It does however accept ritaa lita

We just tried to name our Brown cow Meriweather. after 20min. and much frustration from my daughter we figured out it had to be some combo in the EATHER in end of her name. we did the trick of misspelling( using i caps etc.) but it looked too strange and still wouldnt acpt. it so we ended up w. a virtual cow named Mable and her real life plushy named Meriweather. thank you. bensm1 and CB radio(daughters wi)

eat is banned. it's on there but a lot of people seem to miss it so i made it bigger. i don't like using caps and numbers for the name, either. i wont do it for any of our pets but a lot of people like it.

Meriwhether or Meriwether would have worked.

it worked fine for me. Perhaps you spelled it differently? Try it as I spelled it and it will work. Oh, I spelled it wrong! It's actually Ebenezer. I thought it was spelled with two e's. If you don't mind two E's, then you can use your name. Looks misspelled to me the other way .

Zer works fine, btw. The problem is NEZ. Don't think that's on the first post. yet.

Yes, Rital is banned. Not sure that I even want to know why but I'll have to research it anyway bc it could actually be a real word! Thank you and rep pts for the new word. (Oh, hey, I just made you light up green from grey... cooolll!)

Spaces do not prevent bannings. That's the one thing that I actually agree with on them. Otherwise, people would take advantage of that and avoid the filters that way to use bad words.
