My BFF couldnt name her Cocoa Dino Lava, then she tried Magma which didnt work either... she finally camp up with Magmi, which seemed to work!

I tried naming my american albino blanco it did not let me so i tried blanca,blanka.blanker none worked so i named her snow white that worked....

i tried to name my bat Gomez because my black cat is Morticia from last year-it wouldn't let name it that so i put in alternatvie spelling of Gaumez

I think I possibly know why they created the filter. Awhile back I sent GANZ an email about people naming their animals with the curse words fully in their, like the bad word for an animal. I asked them if they could block out the swear words, because Webkinz is a child's game (well, it was at first ) So I guess that's why we have this filter.

there is something bad that is slang for "LA". i researched it and found it. though, its highly doubtful that 99% of the people even know it. i seriously doubt that they will be removing it. our best bet is that they get intelligent filters. You are correct, the "LA" & "TO" bans are a different type of ban than the "MON" ban.

Lassie: banned bc it contains "LA"

Duchess banned bc it contains "DU".

i'm sure a lot of people did that, with good intentions. who would have expected WW to not get intelligent filters?

Gomez is banned bc it contains "GO". I see you came up with a great alternative.

"La" is banned so none of your words that start with "BLA.." will work. if you want to use that name for another pet, you have to get something btwn the "L" and "A". "y" is a good option. "LYA" or "BLYANCA"

Lava contains "LA".

Roger is fine.

"AL" does not have any bannings; however you are one letter short. A pet's name needs at least 3 letters.

Thanks for all this info! I just wish I had found this forum (new to all this) before I gave up on our snake's name, Slither. So, he's "Sneaky!"

LOL! Sneaky is still pretty good. Slither is cool, too. But, you'd have to spell it Slithur, lol.

We have a Tiger snake named Poison; a Striped Snake named Harmlyss and a mystery pet that was a tiger snake named Nexxus.
