hi! just change the spelling a bit. i'm not sure how its pronounced so its a little hard to help you. BUT-- i will try! If both "es" are short "e" maybe Rinesmee.

if you found a love puppy for a decent price, it might not be there tmrw. you could always buy it and then not adopt for a while.

I don't understand. what's the matter with Renesmee? I can see my pet name , GodBlessAmerica, or even Black Beauty, although that's only very remotely potentially offensive. it's meant to be beauty, like a stallion is so graceful & beautiful--i didn't mean it as an offesive name at all. but Renesmee? how on earth can that be offensive? please fill me in, as i just don't see it.

I just got two pigs, the new velvety pig and the older one. I'd like to name them Pygmalion and Galatea. Pygmalion goes in OK, but of course Galatea doesn't because of the evil "la". This is really maddening. I don't really want to misspell it.

i have no real clue. my best guess is that "Rene" must mean something bad in a foreign language (as in not English).

Did you try it with two E's? I just did and it worked Rennesmee

me too!!! some reps say it is a glitch; others say it is intentional. i think we are all hoping its a glitch and doesn't take close to forever to fix.

Wow I didn't know that there were so many naming problems lately! I haven't adopted a new webbie since the Clydesdale.

Probably the reason they don't let potentially bad words in the middle of good word is because someone who wants a bad name (really, now, why do that??) could do something like: xxx[bad word]xxx to get past the filter (if it only banned bad words that stood alone).

It's unfortunate that there's always a few people that make everything more difficult for the rest of us who just want to have fun.

I hope Ganz develops a better system for filtering. I think that they should let you name your pet whatever you want, but if the filter detects a potentially bad word it should be sent to a representative for review instead of automatically being rejected. Then if it's bad, they could rename it for you. And honestly, if a person has given a pet a name with bad words in it on purpose, then the consequence should be a forced rename. Seems fair to me.

Based on this great list you have all created, that is a lot of words that aren't allowed! I wonder if KinzChat Plus is like that...?

i like what WI does. if you type a bad word, it LOOKS like it is allowed and then shows up as ****. enhancing your thought, the ****s could be reviewed and either permitted or denied but stuck as **** until WW gets around to approving it. if denied, they could have a default for a name, like "NO NAME". that would teach those trying to curse.

it does stink that a few bad eggs ruin it for the rest of us.

sadly, yes. both of our names last weekend were rejected. that's why i started the thread. i was so fusterated...
