The Halloween Gift for 2009. Like/Dislike/Hate? I would like to hear a few opinions, I have a few of my own!

I don't like the mask.
As for the soda & lollipop, I usually keep all of the holiday foods, so there is no use for them.
Overall, I think the prize was OK. Could've been better though.

I thought the mask was cute - better than the mummy bandages and loved the soda can!

Wow. It's disappointing and surprising to see how many people don't like the free things Ganz has given us this Halloween. I think they have done a LOT for us lately that they certainly didn't have to do.

1. SnowWhite - all the GREAT mine prizes
2. Evil Witch Dress
3. All the candies from the ghost are wonderful - love the designs and variety
4. Jack-O-Lantern
5. Halloween Gift Bag

This is all much more than we usually get for a holiday. Sure, some of the designs I like better than others; but, I think all of it is fun and I really appreciate Ganz going to the trouble and effort to try and design new things for us to do and enjoy.

We are getting seriously spoiled when we start heavily criticizing things that are free. Ganz didn't have to do any of those things....we should be grateful.

The pumpkin pop! Ugh... already have it, Ganz! Check the W-shop.

The soda! I really dislike getting FOOD items in seasonal gifts, because I feel REALLY AFRAID of accidentally feeding them to my pets, so I have to stuff them in a virtual fridge for all eternity, therefore it is of no use to me.

The mask! I agree, it does look a lot like a dinosaur, and too goofy to be scary. I would've appreciated it being a "glasses" item, too, since it goes on the face, and when you wear glasses with it, it covers them up. I would appreciate it not being a "hat" item, because it would be nice to wear a hat with it.

Overall, on a 1 to 10 scale (1 being , 10 being ), I rate it about a 3.5.

ok...then mark those things off the list if you like. That doesn't change my overall opinion.

I still think they were generous with it. I doubt they were paid to make 100 kc as one of the gifts.

The gift basket was fine. I agree it was free and i love surprises so i dont really care whats in it. Its the opening part that i like, but I am disappointed w/ the jack o lantern from the huge amount of hours it took to collect the candy. The concept was great, but once you put it in the room, you can hardly see the face you picked. I was very disappointed, it didnt come out better. Lizzy

In my opinion, no halloween day in-dock gift has ever been equal to the 2006 Jack-0-Lantern hat. Even though I was not a part of WW in 2006. I was able to trade, in the GE, for two Jack-O-Lantern hats. Although, I had to trade an arm, a leg and my first born to get them.

This year 2009, I think we need to keep all things in perspective.

Awesome trick or treating - with the time stepped up and an extra day added.
The Jack-O-Lantern prize and 12 different candies that you can get more of after you get your Jack-O. You get to choose your own face. Now, I know they do make you spend a lot of time to get this but our very own WI member computer gurus figured out a fool proof schedule and fine tuned it right down to the end. A big, big thank you to all of them that worked on this. You Rock! I got a jack-O on all four of my accounts and opened a 5th account early this morning so I could get one to keep just as an uncarved pumpkin. Can you tell I'm a pumpkin person? LOL
Plus new costumes in the w shop.

I don't care for the 2009 in-dock gift. But all things taken into consideration, I think Ganz made this halloween really fun for us. And who knows, fads being what they are, maybe next September and early October those masks and the soda will trade very well in the GE or WW trade rooms.

As for me, I say Thank You Ganz and thank you to our WI computer gurus for a fun halloween!!

I liked the whole thing. I think the mask was different than anything offered before - and kind of Halloween creepy. The soda was awesome. Pumpkin pop - blah. But then we got the super wheel and the wheel of the month. I finished my little pumpkin and put it in my room, the candy was colorful and original. There was also the deluxe wheel. Wow - lot of stuff in one day.

Well my opinion is, after seeing all the awesome gifts in the past:

purple witch hat
pumpkin hat
frankenkinz hat, etc

the skeleton hat is kind of a let down. I'm glad to have it to add to my collection, but I really was hoping for something much better. It's just kinda strange!

Also I was really really hoping for a pink pony costume this halloween, like they used to make the cat, hippo & lion costumes! maybe next halloween.

I really think the mask is cool and creepy looking !! Much better than the mummy wrap.

I too think they should change the programming on this to make it read as glasses so we could wear a hat with it. You can't wear glasses with it because you can't see them under the mask. This is a big goof on the programmers part.
