He is obviously much younger and what he loves about WW is the fact that he can line up all his furniture, in a row, over and over - and nobody complains. LOL. It works for him. | | | 01-08-2009, 09:21 PM | #123 | Blind me I'm a Webkinz :) Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 851 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz That would b sweet. but some people might b embaressed going in there | | | 01-08-2009, 09:26 PM | #124 | Autism Awareness!! The Rock Paper Scissors is a great suggestion. We used to play all the time but when the tournament arena was not working for a while we stopped. Thanks for bringing it up. We will have to start again. Those are great suggestions. | | | 01-08-2009, 09:46 PM | #125 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 32 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz If you need anything i will help... thanks for bringing up a great topic.....

Freewebs.com/webkinzlovers check it out | | | 01-09-2009, 02:36 PM | #126 | ferr6 Webkinz :) Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 118 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz Hey.
This thread means so much to me and all of the other children with learning disabilites.
Im autistic (i think), but if i am, i dont have that much as other kids do.
I also have ADD. First it was ADHD, but now im diagnosed with ADD. Im not sure what it stands for, but my friend has it too and we both get angry sometimes really easily but usually we are fine.
I have also been diagnosed with Terettes but i dont twitch (although I do blink alot)
I have OCD but i know the kids who pick on me probally do too. A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE IT.
In all, I have very good grades because i try all I can. With all of these disabilities, I am very lucky to get the grades I'm getting. I am not in Special Education.
Again, this thread means alot. And its good to know how people understand how I feel. But its not good because some kids pick on me if they know i have these deseases but I ignore them or tell them to back off. If you get made fun of because of that, Tell an adult or do what I said.

I have two kids with special needs (both add and my daughter also has low vision). They enjoy Webkinz. I was so thrilled by seeing my kids using the computer to log themselves in, learning the concept of if you don't have the money you can't buy xyz, my daughter organizing and decorating her "house" , naming and caring for their pets. I think it is wonderful. I liked it so much that I started buying Webkinz for kids in famillies I knew that had kids with special needs to help them. I was disappointed when the E-store showed up, but since it is not directly part of the Webkinz "environment" I'm not entirely upset about it. | | | 01-10-2009, 11:17 AM | #128 | (V)!_!(V) crab Webkinz :) Join Date: Dec 2008 Posts: 12,697 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz That's a very sweet idea, but don't you think that Webkinz owners who do not have special needs would take advantage of earning kinzcash so easily? Just a thought. | | | 01-10-2009, 11:45 AM | #129 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 27 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz Originally Posted by dumblonde693 That's a very sweet idea, but don't you think that Webkinz owners who do not have special needs would take advantage of earning kinzcash so easily? Just a thought. i don't give my kids animals to earn cash....I give the children of other families Webkinz so they can get started on the site, and enjoy and learn too.... I get my kids more Webkinz if they see one they like (which isn't hard since there are sooooo many cute ones.) | | | 01-10-2009, 12:15 PM | #130 | Imma Gleek Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 18,134 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz I love that your thinking of Special needs kids.
