So we play together and we talk and bond together. | | | 01-05-2009, 04:38 PM | #113 | Autism Awareness!! It is difficult to communicate on a deeper level with a child with Autism and WW affords us a great opportunity to try new and repeat old things together.

It may even mention it in the above thread, but a few ideas I've seen that weren't very expensive was making a Jelly Bean guessing jar game, and serving a "Recipe Food" at the party (you only need to be creative in replicating one ) If you check out the Crafty Critters section on WW you are bound to get a slew of ideas!!!
Hopefully when Webkinz Jr. debuts it will have a lot more to offer your son Wow, that is an amazing birthday thread. That party sure looked like a lot of fun. Thanks for pointing it out and sharing your ideas. Last edited by Electrabuzz1; 01-05-2009 at 04:38 PM.. Reason: Automerged Doublepost | | | 01-06-2009, 06:36 AM | #114 | ebkinz Addict! The theme is holiday, but if you changed the colors it could be a year round craft http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/....html?t=443144 | | | 01-07-2009, 09:56 PM | #115 | Autism Awareness!! Granted she is young and that, but she is very advanced for her age. I wan;t some games where there not to boring for the teens, but simple for the young ones! | | | 01-08-2009, 04:21 PM | #117 | Gift Guru Join Date: Sep 2007 Posts: 1,961 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz This is a fantastic idea! My little brother is autistic, he has the webkinz duck and loves it, however he seems to have no interest in the virtual aspect of webkinz. But if he ever did get interested in seeing Drake online then I would love to have someone to talk to about kids with similar needs found helpful or fun for their child/family member. | | | 01-08-2009, 05:30 PM | #118 | Banned Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 22,102 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz this is such a great thread, ou are so thougghtful. | | | 01-08-2009, 08:41 PM | #119 | Autism Awareness!! You should try some of the suggestions here with your little brother and see if you can spark some interest. If nothing else it will be great bonding time. | | | 01-08-2009, 09:07 PM | #120 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 32 | Re: Special Needs Kids and Webkinz Great Topic!
