I didn't know it had started back up already. too many shows to check out. did see america's next top model when they had a girl with asperger's competing. she made it pretty far in the competition. don't rember wheich season it was.

good idea not to get him into the clothing machine. if he anything like mine he will make alot of patchwork clothes. at least you can sell them in the wshop for a decent amount of money.

shirt 26, pants 23 and hat 14. i went and had gotten the new clothing items thinking she want to put them on pet and instead she put them in the machine. i hope the very cute halloween stuff is one the items it won't let you put in machine.

I haven't gotten around to watching the Amazing Race...Im hoping they post the full episode online like last year. I start off the race pulling for 1-3 teams at the beginning but when I saw Zev i knew I was pulling for his team. Will probly watch it today since I have no place to be.

i think the fridges are safe. after reading it i went and check out fridge. food still in there. more of a problem if he likes to put one food at time in for recipe. you can't put a food in and then go to w shop. it knock right back out to the dock and bring up message about not leave food in. i have feeling that might bug mine especially since i think that how she keep track of what messing to make the recipe.

the halloween stuff is in so watch he going to want spend kinz. saw a vampire costume along with the other two costumes. didn know about that one

Just wanted to pop in and let you all know that I am OK- we are sick still fromt he allergies going over-board (months of no rain made them bad, too much rain and 25 degree temp. drop made it worse), working on ins. stuff from the car incident (still- hopefully almost done!!! YEA!!!) AND I am making things for the craft show with my mother I *thought* was next weekend, but is THIS weekend. So I have literally been working on making things day and night every chance I get so I can have some things made for it. If I don't, I will never hear the end of it from my mother!!!

I will try to catch up with you all after this weekend is over and I am so sorry that I haven't been around.

I have a bit of news though about hubby- he is going to get to work with the guys from Ghost Adventures (it is a show on the Travel Channel) at the end of October! The girls think the show is a riot because the main person in it reminds everyone of my brother LOL

HUGS, miss you, but I will be back up and typing soon

Hi everyone, hope everyone is enjoying the cooler fall weather. Our computer power source blew up last week after the thunder storms we had and then had family in town all week, so computer time was pretty scarce. Luckily DH was eventually able to fix the computer but then we realized the sound card is fried too. Not sure if that will be as easy to fix. I was feeling a little lost without my computer.

We definitely are enjoying the fall cool weather here. DS overheats really easily so the cooler weather means we can play outside more now, which thrills him. Out little town is having their fall festival this weekend so I'm looking forward to that. They have the big inflatable jumpy centers, which DS loves so I sure will be hitting that this weekend. We'll have to go early so the volumes of kids don't intimidate him to much. Still gets shy around big crowds.

We've hit the potty training hard, so most of my time is spent in the bathroom. Bathroom's never been so clean, keep cleaning it up while I'm waiting in there. It just hasn't clicked yet for DS. He finally realizing when he's wet but hasn't quite put it all together yet. I'm sure he'll eventually get it (as everyone keeps telling me he will) but man-o-man it's been time consuming and frustrating at times! Especially when I tell him it's time to go and he gets his defiant look and yells "NO" Heck I don't blame him, every 30 -60 minutes in the bathroom is a bummer too.

I haven't watched it in a couple of seasons, but that is great that they included someone with Aspergers on it. I'll have to go look it up again. Do they refer to the contestant having Aspergers or do they gloss over it? I'm addicted to the Dancing with the Stars right now. I usually record it because DS likes to dance and clap for the contestants after each dance.

I didn't get that one. I checked my fridges too, and they're fine, so I'm guessing that it just refers to the stoves, hopefully.

Hope you guys start to feel better soon! I here you about the allergies getting you sick, we just get in the spring instead. Luckily as DS is getting older, his respiratory issues and asthma seems to be getting better. Good Luck with the craft show! Hope you guys sell tons! I love going to those, but haven't been lately, looking forward to the big one that's here this Christmas.

That is AWESOME about your DH! That will be too cool and I bet the girls think it's cool their daddy is working on a TV show. I've seen it before and enjoyed it but haven't caught it lately, heck I don't think I've caught much lately.

Well I'm off to run to Target, DS just finishd his show and came in and told me "Off computer, time to go Target" I guess I know who's really boss.

Hi everyone,

Wow has it been a week. We are dealing with the joy of bullying. During inclusion times 2 kids hurt dd. But yesterday it was like a MIRACLE occured. She was slapped by a child and she stood up and said "YOU DON'T DO THAT!!!!" she then told an adult and they actually reprimanded the bully!!!!! HOLY CANNOLI!!!!! Today another "gentle soul" decided to headbutt dd today when she tried to go on the Geo-Safari in class. Once again dd stood up and said "DO NOT DO THAT TO ME" once again she told an adult and the adult addressed the problem. I am SHOCKED. Usually dd will stay quiet and say nothing, or the adults will ignore the problem.

Hopefully this will mean that dd has learned that she does NOT have to tollerate people being mean to her. So many of her therapists and teachers have this attitdue that "Youre disabled, expect to be bullied and just take it". Nope, not in my world.

DD is perseverating on the Peppermint Puppy. I have been to timbuktu and back looking for a place that has them in stock. I found the Giraffe and the pink cockatoo (anything pink is an instant hint) but she can't function until I find "peppermint puppy". She did adopt her POTM today, but kept on talking about the puppy. *sigh*

I am hoping tomorrow will end the week on a good and positive note.

How has everyone been here?

Hey there!!

I am reading your post with such mixed emotions. It is wonderful to hear that your daughter is standing up for herself. That is such great news. You must be so proud and relieved.

What appalls me is that she has to. What is wrong with these teachers that they are not concerned about your daughter being bullied? The attitudes of some people just frustrates me to no end. As the parent of a typical child bullying is a huge fear. As a parent of a special needs child bullying is horrific, disgusting and intolerable.

Bullying should NOT be accepted under any circumstances. It is definitely NOT something a "special needs" child should have to accept.

I feel for you. I can imagine your frustration! I am sure you want to knock some heads together.

Good luck getting your Peppermint Puppy.

Yes. Zev is very open about having Autism and discusses how it will effect him in the race. He talks about the challenges he will face. It looks like a good seaon!!

Poor you! Toilet training stinks (pun intented). It gets tough when they start refusing to try. Stock up on your rewards my friend.

It is getting very cool here as well. I love this season. The leaves are beautiful. The air is crisp. Baking season begins!! And of course "Fall Festivals". Enjoy yours!

Meows!! Exciting news!! Congrats to your husband How cool for all of you. That gives you great bragging rights!

Get crafting my friend. I wish you great success in your show. I have zero talent for anything creative like that. And zero patience LOL.

It is great that you are almost finished with the car business. It has only been over a month. Insane.

Miss you to my friend!! We need to designate some chat time. How is January for you LOL?
