To my great surprise, he loves the AIR HOCKEY GAME. We found this out by accident because I don't like that game, I find it too difficult. Maybe others will find this info useful. The Bowling Alley was also a big success. He enjoyed Dogbeard's Bathtub Battles (the battleship game) without understanding it too much. He needs me hovering over his mouse the whole time, but it's worth it to see the smile on his face.
He also loves opening boxes (when registering new pets) and the sound effects of registering the Trading Cards. Expensive fun! __________________ Thanks Pengu911 for the siggie! | | | 10-25-2008, 03:02 PM | #22 | hy wait to volunteer Gift Guru Join Date: Oct 2008 Posts: 10,069 | Re: Thread I would like - Special Needs We went right on and played the Air Hockey game and my son quite enjoyed it. He did not win at all but he was willing to try THREE times in a row. Quite an accomplishments. For anyone who wants to try go to the clubhouse and there is an Air Hockey Game in the Sports Room.
He also tried checkers and enjoyed that. We even managed to win one and he is catching onto the concept.
Thanks for the ideas!
We are leaving to go on a haunted train ride (he loves trains, one day I may have to break down and get the train in the eShop) now but will try Bowling soon.

There is no time limit and you can make 10-50 KC with completing the puzzle. Also I was thinking that if you do the cards...you can practice Where's wacky and shoe store clerk with the tons of duplicates that you end up getting.

Actually, ElectraBuzz, if you add SewToby (one word) to your phone/friends list in WW, I will send the puzzle as a surprise for your son. That way he can have mail with a package. There also could be versoins of WW for younger or disabled kids. __________________

One thing I though was great about the Air Hockey game was the yellow puck. Yellow is great for low vision and easier to follow.
When we got back from our Haunted Train ride tonight my son wanted to go on WW and play Air Hockey again. It was great that he remembered it.
We do have some cards and my son plays that same game with a variety of other cards regularly. It is just that he needs a great deal of processing time.
Little Dog, I will definitely send you a WW invite.
Thanks!
