Question how are your suppose to make a maze or block your opponent if your not allowed? ?

how are you even suppose to block your opponent if your not allowed? ? ? i think it would be a funner game if your suppose to block your opponent, get onto the next side and you win! because i try to make my opponent go slower by putting reaths in front of them but it hardly makes them any slower! do you have a tip on making a maze or making you opponent go slower? please let me know cause i am ending up losing every game! here is something else you can post, how would you like duck crossing to change?

My DS is addicted to that game...His strategy is to move a few spaces and to let the opponent waste their reeds. He'll then start blocking them so they have to move around his walls...as he slips quietly to the opposite shore...

I employ a different strategy-I use the the "no blocking" rule to my advantage. If I see they are blocking me where I'll have to take the long way around, I'll stick up reeds around myself so that they cannot place any to actually impede my forward marching.

It's a matter of finding what works for you...and since everyone has their own strategy-you have to sum up your opponent and base your game plan on theirs..

Happy Quacking!

It wouldn't be so much fun if all you did was completely block the board, lo8nl - no one would ever get to the other side! The no block rule is what makes this a strategy game... you can use it both offensively and defensively. Try creating a box around yourself AND your opponent, whose only exit is through your goal line... then you might start to see where the strategy comes in.
