Wow... really?I keep on worrying that my poems haven't been evolving, that they haven't really improved since I wrote Through Plumes of Smoke 11 months ago. So your comment really did mean something to me. Thank you.

^Agreed. I love those lines, too. Very blunt. xD I also like the message of the poem - looking forward to growing up, yet missing your childhood when you do mature. I get that feeling nowadays, since my future seems to be looming over me, but there's nowhere to go but forwards. Well, I suppose you could just stand still. ...Anyways, amazing job as always!

That was a beautiful poem! I love the word azure, it's so much prettier than plain old 'blue.'

Thank you! Blue is a great word in it's place, but azure is often specifically used to describe the color of the sky- which is why I used it. (Apart from the fact that I love how it sounds)
