The Webkinz were all exhausted from swimming all day. It had been so hot for the past week. They went to bed dreaming of last winter and how cold it was. When their alarm went off . .
They were all shocked. Out of the middle of no where it was snowing outside, and in the middle of summer! One of the Webkinz ran outside as fast as she could. How could it be snowing in a time like now? Just yesterday it was hot!
She ran back inside to get ready with everyone else. They unpacked their mittens, scarves, sweaters and pants and put them on. Next they all ran outside. A Webkinz picked up some snow and packed it into a ball. He threw it at another Webkinz. That Webkinz fell down, laughing. He picked up one too and threw it at the other one.
Now they all decided to go sledding. They split into groups of two. A few groups went over to grab their sleds. Then the next several groups grabbed theirs. All the Webkinz raced to the top of the hill. The first group of two went down. They went on a jump, landed in an indent in the ground, and finally slid down to the bottom. The rest of the groups went down after them in a similar fashion.
Finally, when everyone was tired, they all settled down inside with cups of hot chocolate. This was perhaps the best day of their lives.
The webkinz were all exhausted from swimming all day. It had been so hot for the past week. They went to bed dreaming of last winter and how cold it was. When their alarm went off they sprung out of bed, and noticed something different about the outdoors - there was... snow? Surely this was not just the dog days playing tricks on them, so they went about Kinzville to find how this happened. The kinz gathered by the Adoption Center to ask Mrs. Birdy and Dr. Quack why it snowed, but they weren't there. "Aw shucks," Sir Barketh, the Golden Retriever, whimpered.
"We always have the Zingoz and Zangoz house to ask," Purrsephone meowed.
"Yeah, but they are away on their annual batting trip," shrugged Eat More Chiken the Cow.
"Well, what do we do than?" Jumple Skiltskinz the Frog questioned, and all the kinz sat there for a minute. Someone, of anyone, of everyone, surely had to be in Kinzville.
"I got it!" Purrsephone continued, "Why not ask Sam McWoof to figure out this cold catastrophe.
"Haha, I get it, CAT... astrophe... you get it guys?" Everyone looked at Eat More Chiken like he was mood! Get it, mood? Like mad? Yeah, I really need to stop interrupting the story.
Anyway, so the kinz decided to walk to Sam McWoof, and he was there! They ringed the bell, and Sam McWoof yawned, "What are you kinz doing at this time of morning?" He then looked behind them and noticed the snow. "Well I'll be! If it isn't Christmas in July!"
The kinz simultaneously tilt their heads and questioned, "What?"
"Well, you've never heard of Christmas in July? It's when all the Webkinz and Kinz of the town come together to quote on quote chill out, essentially, in the summer!"
"So that's why there is snow!" Jumple Stiltskinz ribbited.
The whole day they celebrated, and everyone had a great time celebrating their Christmas in July.
And they all lived Jollily Ever After! Get it? See what I did? Oh come on, I know you did - hey, where are you going, I'm not fin-

The Webkinz all looked around wondering who set the alarm, because it twas summer. Out of no where, Mother Webkinz threw their bedroom door open and told them to get downstairs ASAP because the Summer Pixie had come to visit. Confused, the webkinz made their way down the stairs to find 5 flower buds all in separate pots. One by one the webkinz came and looked at their flower. Glitter started to fly and the bud opened with A TIARA! A NEW DRESS! A STUFFED BEAR! and many other toys for the webkinz. Mother Webkinz even received a new pair of earrings.
The webkinz were all giddy until the youngest asked, " Why did the Summer Pixie come to visit?" and Mother Webkinz replied, "It's summer in July!"

They awoke disappointed that it was still really hot and decided to find new fun ways to keep cool. All the webkinz except one that is. One small, shy lil' kinz had another idea. She was going to be a secret (in July) santa! To her the best part of winter was giving to all the people you love and helping those in need. She quickly began working on her idea. First, she bought enough large styrofoam balls for all her friends. They looked like large snow balls to her! Then she cut them in half and carved out the center. Inside she placed a special gift for each of her friends and a note. The note said...Let's celebrate Christmas in July! Everyone meet in the park for a fun party and please bring a toy to give to a child in need. She tied the snow ball presents together with red and green ribbon. When everyone was asleep, she left them at their door. Bright and early the next morning, she hurried to the park. She hung homemade snowflakes from the trees and put cotton puffs all over the ground. There was snowball cupcakes, snow cones and cold chocolate milk (it was much to hot for hot chocolate!)in christmas mugs. A small but beautiful Christmas tree stood by the picnic table. A box sat on the ground by the tree with a sign that said: Toys here please. Soon all her friends arrived. Everyone had the best time. And best of all...everyone donated tons of toys! So, now all the kids in need could have a Christmas in July too!

The Webkinz saw the sun shining brightly. It looked as hot as could be. Suddenly, a flake of snow came down. Then more and more, until it became a blizzard! The Webkinz all wanted to play in it. They got on their winter clothes and voila! They were ready to play. They went outside and after climbing snow mounds, making snow angels, building snowmen and throwing snowballs, Santakinz came in! He passed out presents to every Webkinz! Toys, books, games, alarm clocks?RING! The alarm clock went off. The Webkinz woke up to find out that that was a dream, too. But when they walked into the living room, they saw presents on the ground and a card saying: Hi! These presents are for your Christmas in July!
Ho ho ho,
Santakinz

...the webkinz realized it was just a dream. They really missed those winter days, then one of the webkinz comes up with the idea to celebrate christmas. At first, everyone is puzzled about that idea and felt that is wasn't going to work but then everyone agreed with it.
Another webkinz suggests to decorate the tree with christmas lights. Then, everyone begins having ideas and all agree to make a christmas that feels like winter. Of course, it was too hot outside to make it snow, bit that wouldn't stop the webkinz from making their dream a reality.
Hours pass by as the webkinz work hard to make winter ouside. One of them cut paper snowflakes and put them on the grass and another put ice cubes on the swimming pool so the water would freeze. Light are spin around the tree trunk, presents wrapped with any material the webkinz could find, hot cocoa is being boiled on the grill, and snowmen are made with paper mache. The webkinz had fun doing all of this, specially the part when they opened their presents.
Now that all the webkinz had a great time, they were even more exhausted from working very hard on making it christmas and went to sleep. The webkinz dreamed about making another christmas in july next year...

they were zapped into another time period! It was snowing! The polar bear loved snow! All of the webkinz were scared though, because they weren't sure how to get back. None of the animals worried much though. Later that evening, when it stopped snowing, the animals wanted their mamas. They were all worried now on how to get back to their own cozy, warm homes! So they wandered around town looking for clues on how to go home. Finally, they met Goober, a Professer. He said that you had to make a time machine out of snow! The animals though he was crazy because it had never been done before! All of the webkinz worked together to put snow together. They finally had it done! There was enough room in it so all of the webkinz could fit. They got back and gave their mamas a big hug. But the weird thing was, it was still light outside. The animals figured that no time had passed at all! They kept on using their time capsole to see Goober, their new friend for life. They had a perfect snow land to visit whenever they wanted. This was their best summer EVER!

they climbed out of their beds, still sleepy and thinking of their beautiful snow dreams. Time to put on the bathing suits, have breakfast, and head for the pool again.
But first....time to open the window shade. Wait! What's that? All they could see was large, fluffy, white objects floating down!
Wheee! Our dreams came true! Everyone rushed to the closet, pulled out snow pants, jackets, hats, and mittens. They rushed down the stairs, threw open the door, and burst outside...
...into a normal, hot, sunny, July day.
What??? What's going on??? Where's the snow???
Then they heard a giggle from above them and looked up.
There on the roof above their window sat Sparky, holding a torn feather pillow.
With a huge grin, he said: "Surprise! Everyone was wishing for snow so I made it as snowish as I could!"
Luckily for Sparky, featherballs do not throw as well as snowballs!

When their alarm went off, the day was as hot as it was the day before. They headed to the swimming pool again, when suddenly they had a great idea. They should make their own winter day in the middle of Summer. They went to a new building in Kinzville. The owners didn't know what to do with it yet, so the webkinz asked the owners if they could use it for their idea. They agreed and the webkinz excitedly put their plan in motion. One webkinz sprinkled powdered sugar on the floor and put cotton balls on the windows. Another webkinz gathered a bunch of lil' kinz together and they cut out paper snowflakes to hang up everywhere. Inside was a large, white spiral stair case. The webkinz put large pillows all around the sides and at the bottom so that the lil kinz could sled down with out getting hurt. Then they set up a large sand box that were full of giant cotton balls. They made cold chocolate milk in the place of hot chocolate, and iced tea instead of hot tea. They had large fans everywhere to keep the place cool. Then the webkinz invited everyone in town to come to their "Winter Wonderland". Everyone had a great time. They played snowball fight with the cotton balls, and they even had the great idea to glue them together with googly eyes and paper noses to make snowmen. The lil' kinz had sledding races down the stairs, while other webkinz enjoyed the yummy drinks. Everyone had so much fun that the owners decided to keep the building for the winter in summer celebration, and they even thought about doing a summer in winter party too! Everyone kept cool and had lots of fun. And that is what webkinz do to keep cool in the summer. The End

...they jolted up, all still quite sleepy. The closest to the clock, Dommy, checked the time. It was three in the morning.
"We must have set it on the wrong time," he told his two Labrador friends.
They tried to fall back asleep, but the heat was unbearable. Finally, Maylin got up and walked out. When she came back, she was holding a lit candle and a book.
"It's too hot, so I thought losing ourselves in a wintry story might be fun."
"Great idea May! Dommy, wanna read for us?" Junctus said.
Dommy grinned and accepted the book. He placed the candle near him, next to the alarm clock.
"'It was a bright Christmas Eve morning, the weak but persistent sun breaking through the clouds. A church bell rang through the air like a bird's song.'"
Here, Dommy stopped, for, just as he read the words, a church bell had sounded. Shaking this off as a coincidence, he pressed on: "' Jack was so excited for this day that he took five minutes flat to eat and get dressed. As he rushed outside, the watery sun suddenly ducked behind the clouds. Small raindrops began to fall, but within seconds, they turned into tiny snowflakes.'"
Dommy, again stopped. This time, rain and snow had gently started falling. The three Labs' eyes widened. They raced outside. As they reached the porch, Dommy read the last line of the page. "'Soon, frost doubled into a blanket of soft snow.'"
The words had barely left his lips when snow rapidly piled into a great stretch of cold, refreshing snow. Snow!
Dommy's book tumbled from his paws as they all rushed forward, looking towards nothing but the best summer's Christmas the community had ever known.
