I posted this in the other thread also, but it seems like more people are coming to this one to look at, and comment on the entries. Everyone's entries are amazing. I've enjoyed looking at them all, and can't wait to see who wins.

Here's mine. It's pretty simple, but it's part of my heritage/life. I live in Holland, Michigan, where we have a Tulip Time festival every year. It's one of the biggest flower festivals in the US, if not THE biggest. I am a dutch dancer, so I wanted to depict that in my room. So here is a street scene in Holland, Michigan during Tulip Time. All the dutch dancers are lined up on the street waiting to perform for the "hundreds' (lol) of fans watching.

I grew up in Michigan. I knew there was tulip stuff in Holland (couldn't have come up with the name) but didn't know about a strawberry fest. Now we think of cherries if we are trying to think of something unique about Michigan - go figure?!? By the way, stbernard, I have noticed your 'go MSU' in your siggy. Did you attend or do you now? I graduated from MSU as did my husband but it is getting to be a lot of years ago. We were in Lyman Briggs College (in case you attend and aren't just a sports fan - actually not sure if everyone on campus even knows what Lyman Briggs is).

Well although it is kindof plain, I like the Daisy Patch! It looks wonderful with the snow and it makes me smile!

Just wanted to say that I'm so impressed with these rooms! Eveyrone here is so talented and should be hapy with themselves for their hard work!Kudos to all!

Oh, I love that entry! So understated!

It is so much fun seeing the variety of flower rooms people did!

I agree.

In general, I never put things in doorways (unless I am blocking them completely with Xmas chimneys to hide them.)

The webkinz should be able to move in their room, and be able to use it. And you should do a room that you love.

However... I think the vast majority of the entries that I've seen for this contest have been creations of the heart. A lot of love and time and thought went into what people did for the contest!

Okay...

I don't live in Michigan, but I studied at MSU for one summer. I did the Clarion workshop for SF and Fantasy while I was there.

Small world, eh?
