My favorite thing about halloween is probably the time spent with my friends. I love walking around with them throughout the neighborhood, then going to my annual party and having a gigantic candy trade off. It's probably my third favorite day of the year! (Next to my birthday and Hannukah of course!)

My favorite thing about Halloween is seeing the young kids in their costumes when they come to the door for their candy. Some of the costumes are so clever and the kids are so excited to be out collecting candy. It's a great night of fun for everyone.

- It's a great excuse to be as silly, zany, spooky, glamorous, etc. as you like and it's all OK!
- A great reason to express yourself.
- Planning all the cool projects and costumes, even if you don't make them.
- Making lots of decorations, recipes, parties, crafting, sewing, etc.
- The anticipation of the "reveal", when everyone can admire your efforts.

Halloween is the most CREATIVE holiday because it doesn't have a serious theme; the religious aspects of "All Hallows Eve" don't start until November 1st.
