Exclamation Good or Bad? Limits on Contests

I LOVE how many contests and promotions there have been recently!

But have you noticed that recently Ganz has taken steps to enforce limits on the number of prizes you can win and linked those prizes directly to winning accounts (like the Dex Dangerous Figurine limited 1 per account and eStore so not tradable).

Is this a change for the better? Personally, I am a bit torn as to how to answer.

I kinda like how this has leveled the playing field so to speak so those with just one pet and one account have just as good a chance of getting the prizes as those with lots of accounts.

I also like how placing limits on how many objects you can win each day means that I don't get glued to WW trying to win as many objects as I can during each contest (were you around to remember the Snow White promotion?), and how for my little sibling it means that they don't feel 'left out' by the fact that they are only allowed on WW for at most an hour a day & even then they have to have all their other stuff like school work done first.

But darn it, I really really want the plushie duck and would love to be able to keep clicking till I win one. I would also of hated if during the Snow White promotion I hadn't been allowed to win 7 dwarf outfits so I could dress my pets up as the 7 dwarfs.

Personally I would love to see a compromise where limits were set rather than 1 per account to 1 per per per account so you could win like 10 if you had 10 pets (expecially in the case of activities like SantaKinz.

What do you think?

Torn as well... But I think Ganz has a nice balance going on. At least many of the items can be found in the Trading Rooms if need be.

The one a day feature is good is enough for me, but I have 8 accounts... This HOP event has a little bit of everything, doesn't it?

A C2W with the floating eggs... as many as you can find...
A once a day with the video...
And an account specific prize with the Hopping Bunny..

Actually I don't mind the limits. I haven't traded in years, so getting a lot of one item, for me, doesn't make much sense. However, it's nice to have extra to give to friends who can't participate in contests.

I'm biased b/c I'm not a big trader or collector, but I don't mind limits, either, so long as everyone gets to participate.

However, I loathe stuff that can't at least be sold for kinzcash: Key to Kinzville winnings, Dex Dangerous figurine, Valentine flowers, estore clothes... 'Cause you're stuck with those FOREVER ever ever ever *canyon echo echo echo*. If it can't be sold, I just get one on my main account, but even then, when I'm redecorating or switching up clothing, the clutter can drive me BONKERS. I have to plan around it. Makes my inner neat freak feel violent.

P.S. One hoarding exception: the HOP chickie plush (but it can be sold, so it's safe!). Let it rain chickie plushes! On every account, everywhere. Let it rain chickie plushes FOREVER and ever and ever and ever *canyon echo echo echo*.

I got stuck with a few of those FOREVER items that I would like to dump as well. I did manage to get rid of them by calling GANZ and asking that they remove them HOWEVER that was when the disappearing objects problem started leading to my entire account needing to be reset (and after resetting at least a few of the items that I asked be removed seem to have reappeared) so not sure if I would recommend this way to get rid of them. I know now to be a little more careful when adding objects to my account.

I like getting the option of getting more then one. It's just so much fun getting alot of goodies every day! Also, It's sort of nice to have more then one to decorate rooms or give to others in the Clubhouse
