its not really their motto not to sell virtual items , they said its not right to sell anything on WW , because technically EVERYTHING on WW belongs to them. I think the e-store is a neat idea however i DO AGREE that they should drop their prices a little bit , and their virtual pets need to drop drastically . When the Grey wolf first came out it was 9.50 , still a little expensive but then they took it off , then put it back on at 12.50 which is insane! Im a Male teenager who loves webkinz , i hate going to stores and buying them , because im afraid to be seen + my mom HATES driving me LOL . So i thought i could from now on by all my pets online -- BUT NO! I want them to release curently available pets to the e-store for EVERYONE! So basicalyl i have the oposite problem as you lol , you cant buy online and i cant buy in real life.
Oh -- just a side comment about #1 - I belevie that you should live life day to day at the fullest you possibly can . Yes , one day they wont be important to you , but neither will the plush. But now they do , so why not!
I agree 100%. Buying virtual items is silly! I can't use my credit card for virtual items. DH of course thinks the whole thing is silly, but it is a neat pasttime and collection. I like to see real stuff in hand. I wish we could buy a figurine or something that would give us the neat estore stuff or on a Trading card or something or the plush animal, but a virtual item without a corresponding real item isn't cool! That's great if you can afford it, we can't either. I also like to hold something tangible.

Your afraid of buying webkinz! (I'm a teenage girl). There are more embarrassing things people buy out there. lol. Ok, well ya, I kinda am embarrassed sometimes. I got a rep to keep.

I totally agree. While I like the items in the estore I do think they are way over priced for being virtual items. I think they should just become part of the TC series and be done with.
Also they can't be Kinzposted and this is UNFAIR in itself! If its MINE on MY account I should be able to send it where ever I want!!!
PS I noticed NOT ONE person who has purchased from there is on here singing its praises!!!
Its a rip off! Esp the Webbie prices being near as much as buying a plushie and code from the store!!
But ppl are buying from there so for Ganz is "making money"!!
I like the eStore. Although, I do have to admit, they are kinda overpriced. And I noticed lot of members here complaining that Ganz is greedy. But Ganz is a business! Businesses make money so they can stay in business. Just because they make money doesn't mean they're greedy.
Yes, they are a business. But it would be better to offer something to go with it like Trading Cards, objects like figurines etc. and not just a virtual item that you can't hold or keep.

Except some people like the option to skip buying stuff they don't want, even if is real, just to get the virtual item. I have no use for most of the peripheral items that Ganz has put out and I haven't bought most of them (just the trading cards, and those went in the trash after I got a complete set). I'm just not interested in buying lip gloss or a pet carrier or whatever to get the virtual prize. I like cutting out the waste (and for me, buying something I don't want or won't use is a waste, much more so than spending money directly for a virtual item I do want).
I love the e-store. I don't necessarily want each and every product, but I really enjoy those I have purchased. It's not for everybody, just like all the various products Ganz offers aren't for everybody. But I love the fact that Ganz gives its customers a variety of options to participate.
As for their "motto" about not selling virtual items, the above poster is correct. It's got nothing to do with it being a motto. Ganz is the legal trademark holder for the virtual items we play with and no individual has the legal right to sell them. That's why they don't allow them to be sold by anyone but Ganz.

Sorry, I was busy at work, making more $$ to spend at the e-store.
