Default VACATION GARDENING

Finally back from Destin and what scorcher it was ! All of the plants in my garden had to be dug up.I really think there should be a way to put your garden in low maintence mode or pay a fee to have it watered ,weeded ,and harvested that would have been a great help to me.Any ideas?

Those are great ideas! I don't know of any alternatives except to just dig and start over. It would be great if it rained in WW ! Being able to spend a small kc fee to hire a 'gardener' while you are on vacation is an awesome idea. Anyway, welcome back home!

Oh yeah! That would be really cool! Even though I don't have a garden you should be able to pay or something. But it's OK for it to be dug, it's not like you actually have to get rid of the plant and buy a new one.

That's a great idea! It's always sad to come back to a rotten garden. I think next time I go on vacation and don't have a garden sitter, I'm just going to take the palnts out and leave them as seeds in my doc. This way I won't come back to a sad mess and will just replant them and start with fresh plants without having to dig.

What a great idea! After all, we can hire a tutor to get through Kinzville Academy, why not someone to take care of our garden? BTW, i think it does rain in Kinzville overnight, I haven't watered my garden in months!

Very interesting idea indeed. I've always thought you should be able to buy and install a sprinkler system. I love raking, harvesting and selling produce, but watering 90 individual squares twice a day (two yards full) is not fun! A sprinkler would be cute and helpful!

The sprinkler idea definately has my vote as well ,that will solve one problem maybe we could hire Doug to do the raking and harvesting since we only see him a few hours in a day . Then he could keep his day job.
