Default Re: For newcomers to the trade room!

I spent some time last night in the trading rooms with the kids, and didn't have any serious problems. The biggest "problem" was the number of people wanting exclusive items. Well, yeah - I want them too ... but I won't trade one for your pink shirt. [Well, that and when one of the girls "took over" when I had to go switch laundry and traded a cherry blossom tree for a food item ... but hey, she was happy so I didn't care.]

I did manage to swap off extra trophies for some stuff the kids really wanted [and got relatively fair value each time], and in the end the kids were just fine with what they got. When a trade was proposed, I made sure the other side accepted before I accepted [to prevent any "bait-and-switch" attempts] so that's really the biggest piece of advice I'd give. I certainly didn't offer anything I wouldn't think, "I REALLY don't want to lose this!"

I don't know that I'd do it all the time [I'd still like to gift here and swap my extra trophies for someone else's extra trophies] but I don't have anything bad to say about it. As with many things, you just have to keep your head up and your eyes open.

I love trading! But it irks me when someone puts up food items or things you can get in the W Shop and says I want rare items/I want exclusive items...well, no kiddin! Don't we all?
