eStore Codes Being Mailed Out for Previous Purchases


We've received over 30 reports from members who have received an email from the eStore with codes provided for virtual items.  The email seems to be an acknowledgement of an order placed in the past.  Listed for each item are two codes: one which had been provided when the purchase was initially made and a new one.

Several members were able to check their credit card activity and are happy to report that they have not been charged for these orders.  While you might find that the original code may not work and the new code may, it might be safer to hold onto those codes until you hear back from Ganz.  There is no word yet on Webkinz Newz about this issue.

Wierd! I just checked my email and got one too. There are 20 different codes there...

Same thing happened to me, I don't see how they can charge us if it is their mistake.

I wonder what the resolution will be... most of what I recieved are charm codes which we have already filled on most of our families accounts.... We don't really have much of a need for those...

Ugh I wish I had read this first. I got all excited with the email because I thought my mother had suprised me with the charms (because I have been depressed over health issues) . I went and added the codes and was upst that only half worked. I was thinking great we will have to have to call and fix this. Now that I used the codes on 2 accounts what will happen? I hope I dont get my account frozen. This stinks

I just checked my e-mail and I got an e-store order confirmation too, there were codes for 8 Black Lab Charms, 8 Black and White Cat Charms, 8 Chihuahua Charms and 8 Elephant Charms. The last time I ordered any charms from the e-store was over 6 months ago.

I did order 2 Phoenix's and a Purpel Floral Fox from the estore on Wednesday, I wonder what is going on???

It must be if you placed an order during a certain time period b/c I haven't received anything. It sounds like most people are receiving their charm codes again, are they sending out codes for other things?

I got codes for 2 yeti forests and charm codes for 6 black labs, 6 chihuahuas, 4 elephants and 2 b&w cats.

I wish I too had gotten on here first. I just figured that there were some that I forgot to use, and put them all in again. After I looked at my order history, I could see that I had double codes vs what I paid for. I had some doubled charm codes, and a grey wolf. I adopted him about an hour ago. Hopefully they don't mess up my account, or take him away. I just thought it was my error at first. Now I'm a little nervous. Happy day if we just get to keep it though

I received an e-mail with 8 black/white cat charms, 8 elephant charms, 6 black lab charms, 4 chihuahua charms, and 2 Ponds with fountain. I haven't checked yet to see if some are the same as I had gotten before but I neve bought that many of them in the first place.

Yeah, I had bought 2 black lab charms, and had 4 codes; the same with b & w cat charms; bought 1 elephant and chihuahua charms, and had 2 codes each; and had bought 1 grey wolf, and had 2 codes. I just thought that maybe I had bought the wolf for my sister, but wasn't sure, so I checked the codes, and the extra ones worked, before I checked my order history to see what I actually bought, I thought maybe I had gotten extra for family members, and maybe forgot to give them to them, or they never got around to putting the codes in.

This is just my opinion but its not your fault and hopefully Ganz will see it that way. Can you imagine those people that don't know about any of the fan forums that are out there getting emails with codes wondering whats up? I'm sure many of those people are entering their codes because there isn't a whole community saying "maybe we should wait."

Again, thats my opinion...I hope it works out in a positive manner for everyone.

I've placed plenty of orders...and, I don't have an email.

But if I did I would not use them.

I have ordered a lot too and didnt get the email. I probably wouldve tried it, why not? Could be a gift, who knows. I'm sure it's a glitch but they cant fault you for it.

I totally agree. The person who posted above didn't even realize what happened when they entered them. I can't see that Ganz will do anything negative. These are after all just virtual items. It can't really cause a monetary loss for the company.

I think it will work out. I'm a little worried about waiting, because the codes might not work later, but I'm also worried about negative effects on my account so I don't want to enter them yet... I'd hate to lose my account over a few extra codes. But I would love an extra yeti forest! The charms I don't need since my family is almost full... but I really hope they let us keep them though because my bf is so excited to get extra charm codes because she only has 2 charms!

I checked my email 2 & I only had 2 NEW codes, even tho I purchased over 10 items
