Webkinz Officially Retires Triceratops

On the WebkinzNewz site, today, it was announced that the recently introduced Triceratops is being retired. As many of us know here, sometimes, Ganz makes just a short run of pets and when they are sold out, they are retired. It seems that this little fellow was quite popular and such is the case. If you have any stores near you with the Triceratops, I would say get this special one of a kind buddy now.

First the ribbon unicorn is retired after a short time and now the triceratops? OMG

I remember being in the store, seeing a clover puppy and triceratops. I was rewarding my kids for report cards and told them to pick one. DD had a really tough time because she loved the triceratops and the clover puppy...I suggested she get the clover puppy, and hold off on the triceratops because we'll see more of those-but the clover puppy will only be around a short time-it's seasonal...


She cried-she actually cried it was that tough a decision for her...and she walked away from that triceratops...omg and now their extinct! Poor dd! haha! (don't even get me started on her trauma after hearing the ribbon unicorn was retired)

Wow. I didn't really like that pet. However retiring a pet the month it comes out? Come on GANZ! On the website it says, we are make so many, we have to retire some old pets! OLD pets? Triceratops jst came out this month!!! And didn't they just retire the Rottweiler? Okay enough rambling.

Maybe they are retiring it because sales are not good. I don't really see many of them in the trading rooms.

actually a while back, there were several webbies that got RETIRED before they even released to the stores. at least this one got THAT far.
there are still some older pets that could retire,too.

I often see "Retired" pets in the stores long after their RETIRE date.

Ganz is just not producing MORE of them.
